I think the reason they aren’t is to give the illusion that there is more armor covering the body than there is. This especially the case on the abdomen. At a glance you don’t really notice that the shoulders, hips, and stomach are essentially unprotected on most Armors. I understand mobility being necessary but it seems odd they wouldn’t protect vital organs more.

Probably. If color is needed to give the illusion of armor, doesn’t that present a problem with the armor in the first place? I’d love an option for black undersuits (darker than pepper, which is dark gray) nonetheless.
And if someone says “Well, the undersuit is armored too” then we might as well run around with no armor plating if it does such a good job.

And it looks like crap with the colored undersuits they just look like giant blobs of red and blue or what ever color you are wearing. They could easily fix the no armor in the abdomen section by giving them some armor in that area. The Mark IV looks so much better with a black undersuit. Same with a bunch of different armor.

I agree, black undersuits look better on a lot of armor honestly. It might be a bit late for significant model changes, but hopefully they will fix their armor designs for H6.
I agree, we need armours with black undersuits.
