Did anyone get the effect of, after you get out of the crash, you just see this magnificent world and you’re like enchanted by it? I’m guessing its the, get out of the bumblebee and look at the halo moment that many people had 11 years ago.
I had that on the level requiem. Anyone else?
I spent at least 10 minutes just looking and several more looking around that area after you get out of the Dawn’s wreckage. Spectacular is the only word I can put to that moment, and such a word does not do it justice.

Same here. And those floating pillars and that ambient music…
I thought the bit just after the crash was spectacular, but compared to the feeling 11 years ago it doesn’t quite compare.
I had never played anything quite like that bit on HCE and I think I spent about 3 hours on that level just looking around. In H4 I spent about 5 minutes looking around then just plowed on with the level.

I did the same.
I also had such a moment when the Chief arrived near Halo Installation 3 AND when the Mantle’s Approach left slipspace near Earth.
No because I was too busy trying to get to the Covies so I could fight.
In all honesty, I really wasn’t that impressed by it. I just sort of had a quick glance, thought about how much I disliked all the light bloom (or whatever it is) and then strolled off.
Thank You for making a positive thread and yes I got that feeling, loved the first look at Requiem (on the inside of course).

This.
