Brakes on the Mongoose

How do you do this? I know LT is the powerslide but is this also brake when you’re just moving forward and not drifting?

Hold the A button to break. I think. Same with the Warthog. Although, I’m not sure what it does with Ghosts, but the Wraith has it’s front lifted a bit, similar to when you held the A button in CE/A.
