I’ve always imagined a Covenant needle shotgun.
It has a slightly farther range and higher rate of fire but deals less damage.
I always thought it would be cool to shoot someone point-blank for a supercombine.
Imagine killing someone and seeing nothing but a pink explosion for a quick sec.

A tornado gun. It makes little tornadoes when fired.
Type-35 Needle Launcher
It essentially fires a huge needle that explodes into tiny fragments upon hitting the target and dealing massive splash damage. However, if you fire it but hold the right trigger and let go, it can detonate remotely like the grenade launcher.
Interesting idea i would like to see them make something like that.

Sounds like it could combat grenade spammers.
