Today as I opened up Halo 5 and went into the customization menu I encountered something strange. A large portion of my items (armours, helmets, visors, etc) are not displaying their correct names, what I do see is the text <BRADISPROPS>. Nothing game breaking, fixed itself after a match.
Interested to hear if anyone else has encountered this bug?
The coding for displaying the name of the item may have had a stroke, and displayed <BADDISPROPS>, which I think means Bad Display Properties. Hasn’t happened to me, though there is a first time for everything.
I think there were some server issues this morning, few friends on IRC commented to that effect. Should be fine now. If you still see it, restart the game / your box and check again

No there are tons of these floating around. I have one from a month ago.

That’s what I thought, I’m actually studying video game design and couldn’t help but think what caused to code to do that

I don’t believe anything is bad. I think it just means something went wrong when the game tried to display something. It should correct itself eventually.
