Witch one do you prefer ?
I personally would rather use the DMR.
Longer range, and more effective getting headshots.
I’ll be using both - DMR for long range, BR for medium/short range.
Yea i’ll alternate, but mostly DMR .
If there was a DMR vs BR playlist, i’d play the -yoink!- out of it.
As much as I love the BR, I see myself getting more kills with the DMR.
But it ultimately depends on the circumstances.

Should probably let you know that the BR has been stated to be better at headshots than the DMR. My answer would be the CC, but I’m gonna say BR since that’s my next choice.
I commend your choice, though. With the headshot-hitbox reduced from what Halo: Reach had (I assume, and seriously hope this is a fact) the DMR is gonna require a lot more skill to use effectively than the BR.
Ohhh yes, forgot about the covenant carbine, a close second to the DMR on my loadout… and the BR from what I’ve seen doesn’t have that much power to me aswell. 
But the CC and DMR are just better all around better weapons to me from what I’ve seen so far… 
I’ve always loved the Carbine and felt it was really under used in Halo 3. Could I have the Carbine as my answer to your question?
If not, then the DMR. It looks cooler, for one thing…

I don’t like the scope on it…I know it’ a new model of the gun so it has to look different from Halo 2/3 but it just doesn’t look right. Meh, maybe it’s just me…
Is there anyone out there that had the pleasure of actually playing the game to give an opinion? I’m very interested… because they both seem to be pretty awesome. Although I’m more drawn to the AR.
DMR and BR (with Firepower) would be sweet.
I like the BR a lot more than the DMR, comparing the old games. But it’s a new game so I have to try them both before I choose one.

I think I ended up preferring the BR after playing some Halo 3 last week. I found myself constantly getting into closer range fights even in Reach with the DMR and I found that the BR was more effective at that range. That’s just my opinion though, it could change once Halo 4 comes out but I won’t know until I can test both guns out in the game.
DMR - Single shot, better reticle, feels better and it suits me better. I never particularly liked the BR. 
I think gun that could be under looked in the game is the storm rifle, very unique and different, and it takes down shields like mad at close range, thats what I like about it, I tend to like to get close quarters take down shields then melee, it’s cheap but it works, so i’ll defiantly have it in one of my loaadouts…
