I don’t see many people running a DMR. So now I’m curious how many of you like the DMR over the BR.
Its pretty rare it seems. But i IMMEDIATELY equip it as soon as i hit the req level for it.
Tbh I -Yoinking!- hate the BR because everyone uses it and people just sit behind cover with it in groups of 4 or more. Snot fun. Itsnot. It is snot fun.
Magnum should be up there. That thing is a beast. Not Halo: CE good, but close enough. I’ve beaten BR and DMR players with it.
I prefer the DMR, but I have yet to obtain a REQ for one though. It seems like many people struggle to get one, I´ve never seen it being used.
I’ve falling in love with the pistol again. It so close to how op it was in Halo CE. So very close… But for this case I’d chose DMR.

You hipster, not liking the BR because everyone uses it.
I think in Halo 5: Guardians the BR and DMR have now indefinitely filled their roles better.
DMR is for longer ranges and BR is for mid-range.

I’ve never been good with the br. Ive never been good with burst weapons period. I cried tears of joy when the br wasnt in reach. Its just very frustrating being in the small pool of people who hate the br, then get utterly destroyed by 12 prople using it. I think it takes more skill to use the dmr imo.
I finally unlocked the DMR rare card, so I now instantly go for that when I level up, and have the BR as a secondary.
I would use a DMR if i had it unlocked

DMR is the shinto…nuff said. but then again my opinion shouldnt matter as the only Warzone game I played the REQ system crashed and we were all stuck with assault rifles and pistols
the DMR is much more powerful in Halo 5 but with accuracy and luck the BR could be better, it just depends on the players preference and skill level.
AR master race
The DMR is just a long range pistol, so I’m just going to say the BR on this one.
Of course, you don’t need either when the AR has around the same killtimes as the BR, Pistol, and DMR, which is unfortunate.
I’ve said assault rifle only to say that they have different uses. Currently I prefer the AR because I seem to do a lot of close quarters fighting anyway. BR for mid range levels and DMR for bigger maps!

did you get it from a regular req pack or from leveling up
I’m still in love with the Magnum. Cant stop using it!
In every Halo game my preferred weapon has always been the BR but I suck with it in Halo 5.
