Hi guys, I was just wondering what is better, DMR or BR, I prefered DMR but after the update I cannot really decide which is better. Post down which you guys think is better.

It really depends on the gamemode and map. In most 4v4 situations the BR is better, but on larger maps the DMR reigns supreme. The DMR is also more consistent and seems to be effected less by lag.

I agree.
It also depends on your style of play. I have seen people actually do surprisingly well with it close-range so ultimately, its what you are most comfortable with

Depends on your situation. The BR is better if you can manage to hit your target, but doesn’t have the range and accuracy that the DMR does. To be sure, the BR does more damage per shot, but has a slight spread and the projectiles take a split-second to hit their mark, whereas the DMR’s rounds seem to make contact instantly. Overall, the DMR is the go-to weapon over longer distances, but the Br has an advantage over it in mid-to-close ranges.
You see, I really mostly play on CTF or Dominion and Slayer. It randomly chooses maps. I just generally wanted to know which is better but I’m more comfortable with dmr. Thanks for posting =)

Why does one have to be better? Why must everybody aways use that one weapon? Why can’t it be situational and based on the player?
I’m not saying there must only be one, I use both but I just want to know which is mainly the better one. I know DMR is overrated, but I like the BR too.

Can we ask that you do a few things with your postings?

Don’t post in large and bold fonts. It’s not any different visually than all caps. We don’t need to be yelled at to get our attention… Sometimes a whisper can cause more to listen than a shout, if you know what I mean.

Don’t travel all over the place using different sized fonts and colours. Those things are there as a privilege and we don’t need to be abusing them to get our points across.
As a suggestion, please consider using modifiers sparingly as it tends to do a better job of highlighting your points when used as such.
Also if you do change colours, please avoid the shades that do not contrast well with the background. It strains our eyes, especially on small displays.
Please feel free to try again but in a format more friendly to the eyes.
