Anyone Got some tips or vids that i can use to get better with the BR? And pls dont recommend that OP DMR because only flaming -Yoinks!- use that gun for EASY kills.
All I can say is learn to lead your shots and let aim assist plus bullet magnetism do all the work.
This also works for every gun in the game.
Stay in medium to close range battles since the BR’s spread makes it inferior to the DMR. Always strafe when battling an opponent with a headshot weapon. If you’re close range, you might as well use the magnum since it has a faster kill time.
I don’t know why you think the DMR is OP when every Halo game has had one superior weapon.

Nothing is new. DMR is simply more precise and faster at kills. If you really want to win at DMR battles, staying in closer spaces and not cross mapping will help you survive.
Don’t try taking anyone at ranges the LR (scoped in) and the DMR dominate in (which is long range). The combination of recoil and spread (and flinch if you are taking hits) is going to ensure your bursts don’t land consistently.
Medium range is where the BR excels at, so you’re going to need to get in a little closer. Just keep a steady aim, be aware of your surroundings, and outplay (hopefully).
I have since moved on from the BR and the DMR is too easy to use. The Carbine is pathetically weak, so i turned to the LightRifle and i haven’t looked back since. It’s a DMR and a BR all in one and it’s scoped kill time is the closest thing to the CE pistol.
