BR tips?

I used to feel so confident with the BR but I feel I keep getting worse…

Can you explain why you’re getting worse so I know the diagnosis to give you.

Aim for the head. Keep moving in an unpredictable a manner as possible (this does not include pre-mature teabagging). Don’t scope in unless you need to, getting de-scoped is disorienting, so unless the opponent is at a proper range don’t bother. Use cover when you can. 4 shots is all it takes.

Crouching while firing is a good tactic if you know how to strafe.
I can beat out players while I have no shields sometimes.

Aim for the head (I know it’s easier said than done).
Practice, practice, practice. Learn to keep the reticle on the head of your enemy, and make sure you have the timing of your shots down. Also, try not to zoom in unless it’s necessary.

It works about 1 out of 10 times on me and I’m an average player. It won’t work at all on a good one. A proper strafe is a better technique, hell hopping is a better technique and that isn’t a good one.

You didn’t have to stop reading there. There was a whole paragraph that followed, mate.

I say just get better at strafing and aim for the head. And don’t spam the trigger, pace your shots.

I have been back and forth with my BR. Close range pistol is my problem now.

Best tip for your shot. Slow it down, concentrate on landing every shot even if your not shooting a full speed.

I got in octagon with a friend and we had a Perfect kill only rule. If you didnt land all your shots you had to let the other person heal. I feel that helped alot.

That seems like good tip to do.

  1. Aim for the head and body line up the body then the head
  2. Practice your strafe (crouch, crouch, jump 2 times and finish off the kill)
  3. Go to a Octagon and practice with a friend thats good

Thats all I got I hope these tips help

Octagon? However, I am improving, I got two perfects one match! I’ve finally learned something that took me 4 games to learn; a good strafe.

Turn down your sensitivity? I use to play at a 9 or 10, playing at that sensitivity would sometimes make me move too much and miss, and now I play at a 4 or 5 and now I miss less.

I can’t, well, I could turn down my horizontal, but then it would be the same as my vertical… I wish they would add lower sensitivitys, mine are still too high

Everyone here telling you to always aim for the head… Not necessarily a bad strategy, but a little misled. When your opponent’s shields are up, aim for the chest until you see their shields pop, then aim for the head. You’ll be much more accurate that way. Also, when I first started playing I was having issues with aiming and sensitivity, too. I bought a pair of thumbstick extenders from Kontrol Freek and it’s made aiming a lot easier, much more than I ever thought it would.

Off topic but your GT is Rhydon… Enjoying Pokemon go?

My advice on getting better aim is to focus on it, and mass game. Play as much Team Arena and Team Slayer as you can.
