It seems to me that the BR is completely over represented in matchmaking. I don’t remember Halo 2 having BR starts for every gametype… Maybe it did.
Anyway, I find gameplay with the BR to be quite boring and wouldn’t be upset if it was mixed up a bit more to encourage dual wielding etc.
Keep your chin up 343. Halo MCC is a big achievement and some of us are old enough (e.g. The ones who don’t pick Halo 3 maps over Halo CE or Halo 2 in matchmaking) to understand the issues and be patient.

There were quite a lot of BR starts further into Halo 2 MM compared to Launch. At first the BR was the prime weapon on the map to grab and as competitive gaming became more popular more BR starts were introduced (pulling this from 10 years of memory.) Right now I think your seeing a mix of Halo 2 original team slayer playlist mixed with MLG BRs or something. Someone else might have a more succinct answer.
I feel they need to make a social playlist that doesn’t have any BR star (So for Halo 2/A/3) Let the people that enjoy BR have Team Slayer and let the people that enjoy not being competitive and wanting to just have fun enjoy their gametypes. Solution that makes everyone happy.
