BR starts/Oddball and more non-forged maps

Big Halo fan since the good old Halo CE. I played the -Yoink- out of Halo 2 and 3 and fell in love with the BR. But now they want us to wield the pistol and the BR became a power weapon??? Do not like it… I want the VETO system back so we can vote for BR starts, I can’t be the only one??

And how hard could it be to add Oddbal and Ricochet to the playlist when we can do it ourself in Forge?? 343 pls fix!

And IF the game should release more forge maps, it should be remakes of The Pit, Lockout, Narrows, Guardian and Construct for example. The best maps in Halo history! The existing maps are really not that good…

Halo is fun, but will even more fun if this was fixed :slight_smile:

BR starts simply do not work for H5. IF you want that you can play MCC or Halo 3 (theres still people playing). The only reason BR starts where a thing is because it was the only usable weapon in H2/H3.

BR starts ruined halo 3. No BR starts.

Battle Rifle starts don’t add anything, they just make the game easier. When everyone spawns with precision weapons with high enough range to cross-map on practically every arena map why would you use the Magnum, or most other close range weapons?

  • No, the magnun/AR start for Halo 5 is the best option, hell even BTB needs to be changed to magnum/AR starts.
  • No veto system, it’ll make everyone play on one map like previous Halos
  • I do agree we need Oddball in matchmaking at least, Ricochet can be a rotating playlist
  • The only map that would work with Halo 5’s new abilities is Guardian. And even then it’d need to be changed quite a bit. You can’t just remake any Halo map and expect it to work like in previous games, you have to make lots of changes to the map to make them work.
