No, that is nonsense and I am not contradicting myself at all.
So dishonest you lie to protect what you want.
My statements toward you clearly was about the battle rifle being more effective at range and thus LIMITS MOVEMENT.
SO YOUR STATEMENT WAS LITERALLY ILLOGICAL TO WHAT I SAID.
You were speaking to another about weapons specifically…I was specifically talking about MOVEMENT.
NICE TRY THOUGH
How does spawning with a battle rifle limit movement more than spawning with an AR? With just an AR, any long range weapon completely shuts down any movement you could possibly have. It’s why in AR starts, its entirely possible for good players pick up a BR and Sniper and get perfections. And if you think the BR is limiting map movement in BR starts then you must not have played much ranked because it actually encourages it.

Your argument is still invalid because you seem to be unable to craft a single post without insulting another person.
And yes, starting weapons are meant to be dropped. Though they can allow a player to survive (save for the Halo 2 Magnum, which was only useful if you dual-wielded another weapon to break shields so you can EZ headshot your foes), they are designed to be trumped by the other weapons on the field so that players have goals and targets to scramble for in order to gain the upper hand.
Running around with starter weapons and expecting yourself to come out on top of every fight is just a foolish gambit. If anything it is nothing more than a personal challenge that will make your teammates feel disappointed because they now have a slot wasted on their roster by someone who refuses to take advantage of a situation.
Again, ILLOGICAL
Ahahaha you guys are so fake man.
One gun is effective at range…meaning you can be hurt or forced to back up from a further distance.
The other weapon is catered towards med to short range.
It is ILLOGICAL to deny that one restricts movement around the map than the one…
THAT CANT REALLY HURT YOU FROM AFAR MAN.
COME ON.
LET THE LIE GO.
LET IT GO.
WHY LIE.
YOU HAVE ZERO FEAR OF DEATH WITH ONE FROM AFAR. THIS NATURALLY ALLOWS THE GAP TO BE CLOSED EASIER BETWEEN THE TWO
STOP THE MADNESS
I’m sorry, but you’re objectively wrong, and I don’t know how you even came to these conclusions if you’ve played Halo before.
Your skills at math notwithstanding, you have still to make a single post where you do not in some way demean or look down upon another person.
You make statements and claim that we have an ego, and yet judging from how you word your posts; you seem to be the one with a superiority complex and a fragile one at that; given all the unnecessary uses of capital letters and such.
Like a typical fool you shout a statement in all capitals, thinking that by making it more bold and eye catching it somehow trumps someone else’s claims.
Because of how you handle yourself on discussions, it is abundantly clear that no one shall ever take you seriously because of the above factors that I have mentioned.
AHAHAHAHA again you have zero logical response.
This is so weak.
Good day or keep typing but YOU have to keep starting with that because you have nothing else.
You had nothing to begin with, oh 4-Chan user who has found his way onto our forums.
well, you’re doing this to yourself by saying literally the opposite of what the facts are
When you spawn with a close range weapons your options are inherently limited. There are only so many paths you can take because you can’t shoot back at range.
Long range weapons don’t vanish because you don’t spawn with them. The player with long range capability has objectively more more movement options given the fact they can actually shoot back whereas the fresh spawn is limited to close range pathways. Which also makes you predictable and easy to counter.
This isn’t a debate, you just like to pretend that giving players a versatile starting weapon stops movement virtually in its tracks. Which is a completely ahistorical lie. I played those precision start games in the past and recently in MCC.
In the AR stan world any engagement beyond point blank is camping. If the AR stan can’t walk across completely open no man’s land without getting shot that means their movement is “restricted”

There is nothing to defeat.
I see only a twelve-year-old child.
Because tweens think that they are the victor of every argument simply because everything has to be a roast session. They use terms like “ego” and “ignorant” and “illogical” without proper cause, hoping that larger words without proper foundation to their claims has been made.
In truth, it is you who is Ignorant, because you constantly keep using insults in each and every post you make despite how much we tell you that it only makes everyone realize that you have nothing to add to a conversation.
It is you who has an Ego, because whenever someone says something in earnest you seek to type in all capitals; hoping that shouting at the top of your keyboard will get people to listen and side with you.
Every post you have made has only followed one chain of logic. The logic that “everyone is wrong except me and if anyone says otherwise, I will simply insult them and act as if I have won an argument when all it is that I have done is make a fool out of myself.”
And as for my 4-Chan insult?
I only made that “insult” after plenty of observations of your behavior. Whereas like most children, you decided to take every comment that contradicted your beliefs as the greatest of offenses and all the reason to post a response to everyone’s statements, riddled with insults, and no actual facts to back up your claims. I cited actual game design mechanics. What have you done other than spew out labels and repeat the same nonsense of your delusions of superiority?
Sheer stupidity and full twisting of logic AHAHAHAHA.
Oh no point to reading that…no one can take you serious after that attack there lil missy.
Good day
I rest my case.
Insults without adding any meaningful conversation, followed by the delusion that he has somehow found the silver bullet to winning the argument.
Can’t be bothered… language and all
Notice how he is now trying to stumble out and flee now, seeing as we have dismantled him so?
Spawning with a shorter range weapon means you can’t die from a distance as frequently…it clearly frees up movement.
The battle is precision and allows for zone like play of team shooting and covering angles to prevent advancement .
It isn’t that hard to understand.
The pattern continues!
Insults followed by euphoric delusion of winning an argument !
By the Queen of England, this bloke is indeed a 12 year old child !
And this thing still hasn’t countered what I said…but don’t worry guys…it has me on the ropes and fleeing but still can’t answer…so
While I can see your points (although I still fail to see the effectiveness of the Disruptor, truth be told, lol, but that’s a nitpick) and you may be convincing me that weapon viability isn’t as stymied by BR Starts as I may’ve originally thought (at least in an Arena setting), I still feel that there are still discouragements in BR-settings that aren’t in ARs, particularly when we go to the BTB side of things which I do play far more than Ranked, leading me to have to at least bow to your Onyx-level experience, lol.
As BTB has really been my main focus when it comes to this, I still feel that a lot of the discouragements of BR Starts would be more prevalent. Until we get a BR BTB playlist we obviously can’t be certain, but at the moment with the AR Starts I do feel that I’ve been getting a lot more fun and enjoyment with them then I ever had with BR Starts throughout the previous Halo games, namely when it comes to people moving in and battling for objectives. When I play those games and I see someone on say, Deadlock, just camping out with a BR or other ranged weapon like the Stalker in their base that’s looking over a point or stack of power seeds at the downed Pelican lane, I do worry about what BR Starts would be like as, again, I didn’t like the playstyles of BR Starts and its pretty clear at this point that a lot of people didn’t either and like the AR Starts we have currently.
The improvements and balancing the 343 may’ve done to Infinite’s weapons that weren’t in some of those previous games (particularly when dual-wielding was a thing and, thus, making a lot of weapons pretty unbalanced by themselves to compensate) I find commendable, but I don’t think they’d be enough to compensate for some past dislikes I’ve had with BR Starts.
But we can only wait and see when we do get more Playlists for BR Starts. As far as the topic of this thread goes, I do think that players should at least have more playlists that are BR Starts.
