Something I noticed watching the Iron Gaming invitational the other week was that they used BR starts for FFA. How about they add that online? Or at the very least mixed in. I just think it will be a bit more even to have everyone with a BR instead of the good players getting a BR in the first 10 seconds and the rest being left behind.
Honestly in my experience there are way better options than the br. So it doesn’t matter if I start with a br or not I’d probably end up dropping it anyway. Plus on top of that if your aim is on point you really don’t need a br at all. Pistol will win the game for you. Thathe and power weapons.

This actually really excites me, if you know what I mean…
I love the BR and hope it slowly pushes its way back into competitive play. Iron gaming using it as a starting weapon is awesome, because it shows that pro players and pro game-type makers believe the BR to be a better starting weapon. Eventually this will make BR starts pop up in playlists more often, AND add variety to competitive Halo. Both very good things.

They only used it for the FFA, the 4v4 was AR/Magnum start still unfortunately. You’re right though, if they deicide BR starts for comp then it would probably make its way into the playlists.

Yea I know what you mean but there’s no denying that the BR is better than the Magnum. As well, the regular weapons spawn so frequently they hardly (if ever) run out of ammo. I just think giving the player a BR off the hop would help level it out just a bit more. That’s just my opinion.
