Are these going to be added? Even if it isn’t every game, I would enjoy having BR/DMR/Carbine spawns mixed in to the Arena Slayer playlist. I have never been a fan of AR spawns - makes the game feel clunky (imo). Also what happened to map voting?
343 said they chose the ar/magnum spawn load out to appease to new players lacking the skill to effectively use the accuracy based guns. (BR,DMR,carbine etc) they gave us the magnum with a zoom to appease the players who want accuracy starting weapons.
I with you tho. I would chose BR/SMG starts>anything else.
Pistol starts are great sorry I would rather keep it this way the pistol takes more skill to use and is more effective than the BR once you actually get good with it.
I imagine AR/Pistol starts are here to stay as the mainline loadout.
I wouldn’t rule out a BR starts playlist though.

What if once you reach a certain rank the BR start becomes in the playlist, like from Gold up. Surely they can’t just not add it because of new players, surely there’s more people returning to Halo than new.
Carbine starts. That would be wild.
I certaibly wouldnt mind having the option to start with a BR but at the moment I have no real issues starting with the AR/Pistol.
No god no, please not BR starts, the AR and magnum is perfectly balanced the way it is. I am actually really enjoying not having to use a BR constantly, maybe they SHOULD make a playlist specifically for this though so others can get enjoyment out of the game. Just don’t make it the main thing.

That would be a dumb idea sorry, If new players got better at the game they would then be unfamiliar with BR starts if the improved enough to reach that rank. They would need to readjust their playstyle again to adjust which wouldn’t be much fun. I honestly don’t think we need BR starts it’s just a nostalgia thing the Pistol requires far greater skill and in the right hands is more deadly than the BR.
If people really want BR starts as well though it should just be added in and have random chance of coming up like in the Swat playlist keep everyone happy then I guess.
I agree that the BR/DMR/ need to stay off the starting load out because players just start spamming head shots everywhere. I’m starting to see the genius in the load out because if you lose a BR or DMR you respawn with an AR and pistol… talk about not just map but GAME control. Hold onto those long guns!!

Also, the pistol IS an accuracy based gun & is actually harder to use than any of the other precision guns.
I seriously hope they add a BR start playlist eventually. I like to change it up.

Gotta cater to the bads. I like how every game is like this now. Can’t hurt anyone’s feelings these days.
I´m just playin 50 high and played the BR like 7 years as a semi-pro. With Reach they focused on public and nooby social sh*t… I played it for 2 days after I threw it in my garbage. Since 343 Halo died for all classy gamers and their passion for competetive gaming. If there would be a BR spawn it would be more interesting for them, so please put my BR back in that / (a halo game) game like in the old MLG gametypes in H2 or H3. In H5 I´m near to the Champion Ranks and I just played like 35 games and this game is so easy, boring and nooby! Please give me back the old competetive HALO… 343 failed again with a bad “cod- game” called “halo 5”… so so sad…I´m out
I reckon you’ll get your wish some time soon, Although it’ll probably be in the form of a separate playlist, or if they bring back the veto system they may include it as an option!
What happened to map voting? BR starts happened. The moment anything ‘BR’ showed up, it got the majority of the votes. No thanks.

Yes. We need this. Just call it Slayer Pro or something. AR/Pistol start is al nice and games in the beginning, but gets really awkward when the other team have the dmr’s/br’s.
