Title says it. I’ve stuck with Halo since day 1. CE, Halo 2, 3, Reach, ODST, Wars (don’t ask why), 4, and MCC. Lost faith in 5, after 4 and MCC.

Read a lot of reviews on how good this MM is, and got my hopes a little up. And then no BR starts, in any playlist?! Whatttt?! That’s not competitive Halo.

Before you say it, with map control and power weapon spawns, there is no campfest. That’s a poor excuse not to have BR starts in competitive playlists.

Also, Team Doubles is my favorite. Is it a permanent playlist?

Magnum starts is much, much better than BR starts and its much more competitive, try magnums before you decide

Well, there’s swat (probably not what you’re looking for though).
Then there’s br and dmr loadouts in warzone, but that’s not competitive.

I miss doubles and the br spawn, but I’m afraid that for the time being, you’ll have to adapt to the pistol and ar.

Ummmm play btb it has br starts. Play swat it has br starts.

This line leads me to believe you don’t understand exactly what you’re talking about, sorry. Magnums are just as competitive as br or dmr starts.

There’s Swat and BTB with BR starts. Though, if that’s the only reason why you’re not buying the game, then I don’t think you understand what makes Halo Halo. It’s far more than just BR starts.

Theres no BR starts but there are Brs on every map
Like some said theres BTB with BR starts.
And the magnum makes it more competitive as its not that easy to make of a kill than a BR

Been stuck with Halo since day 1, but Halo CE didn’t have a BR.

If we have to change the entire sandbox just for you to get the game, then I’d rather you not get the game.

I had the same thoughts when I purchased Halo 5. After just a few matches it was clear that the Magnum AR starts work great. It’s not fair to judge a game without ever trying it.

You start with a secondary magnum which is pretty much the same as a CQC DMR.

There’s BR starts in BTB. But really that’s a lame reason not to play the game at all. You can have plenty of fun without the BR.

BR starts were only a thing because Bungie doesnt know how to balance weapons. BR starts are garbage nothing competitive about starting with a power weapon.

I really hope you don’t think BR starts were a thing in CE, the lack of a BR kind of made them impossible. Smg starts were standard in 2, AR starts the same in 3, There wasn’t a BR in reach either.

The BR starts wouldn’t work since the maps are so close quarters. Plus, the BR is VERY good, a little too good. Magnims dominate the playing field since they are a skillful weapon that beats an AR at mid range any day.

You know, if there’s the one thing I like about Halo 5, it’s that isn’t Halo: BR-Spamtas- I mean Halo 3.
