Why no Battle Rifle start?

this. kinda how the pistol is used now at the moment. game is boring when everyone starts with an OP pricision weapon.

don’t like the Ar. So in HCS will everyone start with AR.
They are Spartans damn it. They have trained all their life for battle and they are given a pistol and a “pray and spray” weapon? This is Halo, not James Bond…
What I don’t think you understand is that the AR is the traditional weapon of Halo, hopefully you played CE and know what I’m talking about. The only reason the BR was starter in Halo 2 was because Bungie played with weapons a bit and took out the AR until Halo 3.
Personally I think AR is the best start, you have to earn that BR by defeating me with your starting weapon, if everybody starts cross mapping with BR’s than I’m out, can you imagine Truth or Regret with BR start? everybody would just camp in defensible spots are there goes Halo.
Play BTB instead…
Yes I played CE and I remember that the AR didn’t do much damage. But still, I know what you mean and I kinda agree with you but still not really. At least give us a 4v4 playlist with BR start playlist.
I’ve tried playing BR start on Truth, it was FFA with five players and it worked out. I think they should try BR start as a weekend playlist so the community can try it.
