It sounds like I’m shooting a toy gun, when it should have the most demoniac sound of all the weapons because of its “great return”… Halo 4 has been a complete dissapointment, why is it so hard to make a game with the style that we all love, otherwise I would be playing cod, they are using halo as a canvas to experiment their untalented creativity… Wish Bungie should’ve stayed :/… Back to the br sound, what do you guys think about it? In one of the first trailers (check min 3:11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JS9Wg-BUy0o )it had a great sound, but now it sounds like a broken blender with a burst sound.

I agree, it sounds horrible. I wish it sounded like the bass cannon from H3…
I think the BR sound is dumb. It sounds like a water gun.
Trashing all of the original weapon sounds makes this feel much less like Halo and more like some shooter with a Halo skin.

This doesn’t change what 343 changed with the BR sound, if anything it should have sounded more like a real gun, seeing as it is a UNSC weapon, they have enough alien sounding weaponry in the game as it is.
Two whole sets of alien weapons to be precise.
Just add some more bass to the sound and take the chirp away and voila, the BR will at least seem like a better gun, even if it is still gutless compared to the DMR.

Yeah, but since is Halo a realistic game? It’s a sci fi shooter. It’s just more proof that 343 is sucking Black ops -Yoink-.
i like the game, but man is the BR sound awful.
Dear god. Do you stop mid-battle and say “Jesus, this gun sounds awful!” allowing yourself to be killed or do you completely forget about how it sounds and play the game instead? I’m thinking the latter, somehow. Sound is irrelevant, if it kills people, who gives a -Yoink-?
I agree. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner that got stuck on a sucking up a plastic bag. It’s truly awful. Why did they feel the need to change EVERYTHING!!! You could have just beefed up the original sound. That one sounds beefy and strong already. If its not broke it doesn’t need fixing 343. Speaking of needing fixing… well yeah. I just hope you have been paying attention to all these hundreds of threads that have been created that are providing very great critiques and tweaks to your BETA of Halo 4
