BR Reload Animation?? Wtf??

In the Conan video
Why is the BR reload the SAME as the AR from Reach? It better be a placeholder :/, or 343 is getting lazy. For some reason I tend not to play games that long with Recycled animations, :stuck_out_tongue: for they’re lack of quality.

I do like the look and feel/sound of the BR though :o. It has the feeling the halo 2 br gave me when I first saw it. some weird feeling of a gun that shoots bullets in the future, that a super soldier uses lol. Just felt cool xD.

I liked it, it seemed to fit the new look of the weapon. But I do hope the Assault Rifle has its old Halo 3 reload animation.

Nobody else noticed this :l… If so, then it’s a shame to let a company get away with using animations from a PAST game, in a NEW game, and selling them all over again.

I LOVED the halo 3 reload! It felt like my AR was being held down by a spring, and with the tap of the bumper… SPRANG UP so quick and reloaded! It was so clean :3.

I know. What’s the big deal? If it fits and looks good on the weapon. It’s fine.

Your face when a large amount of real life weapons are reloaded in the same basic way. You’re just being too picky.

In halo 3 AR and BR had the EXACT same animation, plus even so it wouldn’t really matter, the animation is a lot more fluid than h3’s reload. And plus the game isn’t even out yet and your complaining about 1 type of animation, there is only so many ways to reload it, sooner or later they have to use the same because the all use the same general direction of motion so why waste time/resources on a animation that will be pretty much the same?

You can see how that might be a little more extreme than re-using an old animation for reloading, no?

I don’t flip over a vending machine just because it has two rows of peanuts, or a Butterfinger bar placed where the gum should be. Some stuff legitimately doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.

It might even be a coincidence, yo.

So you are mad that they are using a placeholder shotgun? Why is it a big deal if they use some past assets? Does it affect how the game plays?

YEah, your right. Like how armor looks and how the GUNS look. So why not recycle them as well :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

There’s not too many ways to reload a rifle of bullpup design such as the AR or BR. What do you expect?

You want your spartan to twirl his gun around on his finger and flip it in the air then toss the magazine so it perfectly lands in the magwell?

How would you have him reload the gun? Just curious.

It’s amazing. People will complain about ANYTHING.

You heard it here first, folks, one re-used animation means that an entire development team is lazy and is pretty much an unforgivable crime tantamount to sacrificing your first-born child.

i think that’s how a jedi would reload a weapon. BA

if you haven’t noticed the br and ar have similar design. the only noticeable difference is the scope and the hole in the center. it’s always have in my opinion.

Yeah i like the look and sound of the new BR. Cant wait to get a feel for it.

Reach shotgun is a placeholder derp.

Am i the only one who remembers that halo 4 is being built off the reach engine? This would explain the place holder shotgun and the AR animation.
