The DMR is very slow, its distance is dire, Halo 2 / 3 Br with Triumph, because it accelerated the gameplay by having greater range, speed and damage to your shots.
I think the Halo 2 post-patch BR was the most consistent for online play.
The Halo 3 BR had terrible random spread.
The DMR has too much scope/range and is too random close to mid range.
Halo 2 BR.
Honestly though, if they decided to add the Halo 3 BR over the Halo 2 BR I wouldn’t mind that either…just as long as there is no sight of a DMR anywhere in the game.

although I like the BR and want it to return in Halo 4 I do kind of prefer the DMR, it just feels better to me for some reason.
BR all the way! Halo 3’s BR was second only two Halo 2’s BR but I think hitscan is for birds.
Halo 2 BR. Everything in Halo 2 was awsome. Even it’s vehicals that looked awsome for multiplayer. (a.ka. Shadow).
Neither should be in Halo 4. Enough with the carbines already.
The BR was just more fun to use than the DMR is.

Not, the alone br needs 4 shots and the DMR 5 and it is if your you do not shoot rapidly for the bloom, now the br alone tape-worm a speed of shot it towards which the game was turning mas difficultly for that if you were trumping a shot the opponent kills you, now with DMR is more luck that nothing

DMR, having a single shot weapon as the over best weapon is better then a burst fire gun, the DMR is better at far range giving it a better fighting chance against snipers which to me seems more balance

OK, the DMR does a 1 shot I agree, but the DMR kills of 5 shots there is mas slowly the game, which to kill of four shots the Br was a skill and now the DMR when both players without life shot to crazy thtas luck the winer is mas that luck no skill
