BR = Noobs DMR?

So the BR has spread, is a three shot burst and has a longer kill time than the DMR. So why use it?

Well, it has more aim-assist. So if you have poor aim you are better off with the BR.

the BR isn’t a noob weapon just because it doesn’t take as much skill as another one does, its like saying the dmr is really just a noobs version of the carbine and so forth.

ALL GUNS HAVE SPREAD!!! Even the DMR. That is what bloom is.

I’m pretty sure someone will educate you on this subject(not me because this thread really has no point)but anyone can use whatever weapon they want if it works for them. Personally I will be using the BR and trust me I don’t have bad aim. From what I hear also the BR has hardly any aim assist.

> the BR isn’t a noob weapon just because it doesn’t take as much skill as another one does, its like saying the dmr is really just a noobs version of the carbine and so forth.

?

Carbine = 7 shot kill
BR/DMR = 5 shot kill

If the differentiating features of the BR are; it has more aim-assist and less damage potential than the DMR, it’s not fair to say it is more suitable for a less skilled player?

Not really a noob weapon, just the weapon for someone who just doesn’t know that the DMR is better in every facet in the first place.
I’m going for the Carbine anyway.

But the DMR isn’t better in EVERY way, because it has less aim-assist.

Personally I will mostly use the DMR over the Carbine because I just like the feeling of a 5-shot over a 7-shot.

I like the fast fire rate of the Carbine. It reminds me of the SKS in Battlefield. Which reminded me of the Halo 2 Carbine.

If you can properly aim with a DMR, you’ll be fine going against a BR in every situation imaginable.

If the game ships with the DMR being better in every way then I will use it
Although I can see myself using both as different maps and playlists would require different guns .

how exactly is it that a weapon that requires 5sk instead of a 7sk isn’t a weapon that requires less skill?

They all suck. Im gunna tear it up with the AR.

spr4e and pr3h is teh way 2 pleh. ill b spraeing, thyll b pr4ying llololololol

Moron, spread is purely there to limit range.
Go fire at a wall in Halo 3 at fairly close range: All bullets land in the same place.

Walk further back, and fire again:
Bullets are spread apart slightly.

This was to prevent having a pinpoint BR at long range and it being overly effective outside its intended range.

Please, foreknowledge is a necessity when making a post.

OT: in essence, the DMR only requires the user to land 5 individual shots on the opponent. Far too frequently, it was possible to “flick/twitch” shot enemies, allowing for relatively easy kills. The BR on the other hand requires far more constant accuracy, as all bullets in a burst have to hit for an ideal kill.

This coupled with the DMR insane range, it seems to me that the DMR is more like the noobs BR.

After using the DMR in reach for a long time I have no interest in using it in 4 whatsoever.

Going back to BR and AR combo depending on the map.

Thank you I don’t think he knew what he was talking about(no offence)

lolwut? Carbine is a lemon. BR and DMR are apples, ya dig?

Carbine cannot be a noob version of either, because it is not a 5sk. They can’t be compared through raw data alone.

The Carbine fires faster, you are punished less for missed shots.

NO! the carbine is not a lemon, right now it has the fastest kill time(E3 build it could change) even though it is 7 shot do you dig?

> Moron

lol

Assuming that hitboxes and aim-assist values for both weapons are identical, you would be correct.

But, as they are not, the BR is still EASIER to wield.

I see your point and yet the carbine requires more shots which would mean you would have to be more consistent with each shot.
