About half way through the field audio recordings you can see and hear a weapon being fired with a three round burst.
Could this be a hint of things to come next week? Is the BR back? I hope so…

I think it’s pretty much a confirmation, what other three-round-burst weapon could it be? Even if it isn’t called the BR it probably IS the BR…

Oh my gosh SHUT UP with the 3 round burst posts! That gun wasn’t even firing in three round burst derp! It went 4, 3, 4, 2, 5 rounds.
there never was another 3 round burst weapon in halo,so its

How are you sure this sound effect is for a weapon you can pick up? It could be for a cutscene, or for in the background.
If you actualy listen to it’s firing a different burst each time, not just 3 round bursts.
It could be the base for the sound of the Assault Rifle, or even a Forerunner weapon.

I’m not sure of anything… I was just saying what I thought.

I doubt Forerunner weapons will ever be so… standard. They might be lasers and hard light and plasma and explosives but not normal bullets.

The AR15 was doing different bursts, but if you listen closely after that there are three-round bursts in the background. Around the 0:42 mark.
Has any one ever fired a M16 before? No? I have, and guess what, it has 3 fire modes, safe, semi, and burst. Does that mean BR? NO, all it means is that they’re recording weapon sounds, PERIOD. They could also have a new burst weapons in Halo 4.

I doubt 343 would put a three round burst in the audio recordings video by accident. Everything they do, like Bungie, is 100% calculated. They are dropping clues. You will see on the 29th during the Spring Showcase…

Granted, the M16 has multiple firing modes but, we only heard the 3 round burst.

A said before, the AR-15 we see wasn’t doing 3-round bursts. The only 3-round bursts we hear are from some offscreen weapon after that.
Not sold on it being the BR. Wasn’t even 3 round bursts. Some were and some weren’t.

The AR-15/M16 you see on screen, was doing a 3 round burst, I can tell by the recoil, and the shells being ejected.
