BR/ Bullet Magnetism Concerns

So, I’ve been thinking about the bullet magnetism in Reach, and it’s clearly more noticeable than it was in Halo 3. I have a lot of fun playing Reach, but sometimes I’ll notice I clearly missed a shot, and I’ll still get the kill for it.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s basically just how much leeway you have when you’re shooting at someone. Basically, with less magnetism, there is less of an area for you to hit in order to do damage (I think that’s correct, at least).

I’m basically just wondering how it’s going to be in Halo 4, and how will it work with the BR? If there is a similar bullet magnetism to Reach’s, the BR seems like it would be more powerful than they’ve made it seem so far. Personally, I hope the magnetism is lowered, and the view isn’t as wide-angled as it was in Reach.

What does everyone think about how magnetism will be lowered/adjusted in Halo 4?

Here are a few videos showing how magnetism works in Halo:
Halo 2 (BR)
Halo: Reach (DMR/NR)

Play Halo 2 and tell me the bullet magnetism in Halo:Reach is bad.

I’m wondering that too, and hope it’s more leaning toward Halo 3’s bullet magnetism.

Does magnetism matter if they are using hit scan now?

It plays a huge part on aiming. I’ll look for a video on bullet magnetism in Halo 2, gimme a sec.

EDIT: Bad quality, but very informative.

That would be helpful. Maybe there’s one showing how it works in Reach as well. If so, I’ll add them to the OP.

OP updated with a few videos…

Hopefully we’ll get some more information on this stuff soon. Just one single full-lengthed slayer game would tie me down for a month.
