Is the BR available at launch? I think it should, if not it should be available at launch for those who preordered the game.
I think you have to unlock it.
Yes i’m pretty sure that the Carbine, BR, and DMR are all available on launch. The rest f=of the primaries (Light Rifle, Storm Rifle, etc) you unlock throughout the game

you have to unlock it although its available in certain gamemodes/maps by default
Im pretty sure your gonna have to unlock it.
I remember seeing a video one time that showed it being unlocked at LvL 15.
This was a long time ago before the E3 build so thats probably changed now.

Exactly. Just cause I pre-ordered the game doesn’t mean i should be given an advantage right off the bat.
It’s been confirmed that you’ll need to unlock the Battle Rifle, but it won’t take too too long to do so.
You only have the assault rifle at first I think.

pretty rude for such a simple question. And he’s not asking for an advantage he’s asking if it’s available for use at launch. Because other material in game, (such as specializations) are available only if you got the Limited edition at launch

Are you sure about the BR being unlocked right off the bat? I was under the impression that it was an unlock through rank progression. I’m pretty sure in one of the 343i released vids, it showed someone ranking up to one of the Major grades and unlocking the BR.
Pretty sure I remember some of the people on these forums who played the E3 build early in said there was no BR spawn option, since their profile hadn’t ranked up enough to unlock it yet.
But hey, that’s all from an early game build compared to what’s there now, so who knows what has changed since then.
Even if it isn’t there when you are doing your loadout the first time, I am betting money you will be able to get unlock after like playing one or two games.

We see the BR is unlocked at Major Grade 3. Even though it is an aftermath page of a Spartan Ops session, your unlocks are across the board.
There will be pre-determined Loadouts in game for you to get a feel for everything that you’ll unlock later on if I’m not mistaken

Cheers for posting that vid, I knew I was pretty sure I wasn’t imagining seeing that at some point 
Personally though, I’m hoping to find out what Primary everyone has the option to spawn with right off the bat (unless we don’t even get to make a custom loadout until later on in the game, once we’ve unlocked our first primary?). I’m hoping that we get to pick one of any of the primaries right off the bat, then just unlock the remainders later on; though in all likelihood it’s probably gonna be the Assault Rifle (or maybe DMR?) we all start with.

If thats the case at least the AR is useful…unlike Halo Reach.
