In my personal opinion the new BR (especially the square sight) and the new spartan look awful. Everything else shown in the trailer looked great but these bothered me. Hopefully the spartan is customizable so I can change that awful helmet. Do you guys like or dislike the new BR and spartan?
It looks alright to me. It also says at the start of the Vidoc that it’s a work in progress. So maybe it’ll get tweaked to look nicer for you.

I think if they slightly extended the BR sight and made it circular then it would look great. Yes i know that would pretty much be H3 scope but I think that looks cooler.
Not so much the BR, but I am more disappointed on the new spartan look. Many parts look clunky, helmets make them look like robots, gloves look silly (so do MC’s new shoulder pads), and the feet look like hooves.
I agree whole-heartedly. That square-sight does not scream BR to me. The Spartans look way too much like they shipped in from Crysis, as does the BR.

I think the community would riot if there was a paltry offering of customization options, especially after what we got in Reach.
As for the BR sight, meh. It’s not great, but it’s not terrible. I had a heart attack because I thought it was a Assault Rifle with a scope attachment for a while and I thought 343 was going full-Call-of-Duty on us.
IMO, I don’t like the looks of the Spartan-IVs. But I’m really digging that BR.
Everything in the trailer looks great to me, but we can’t forget the warning of “everything shown being subject to change” so many of the things people are ranting about could possibly be reworked or removed entirely.
I agree. BR looks like a kids toy gun, can’t take it seriously. Spartans look fine but I’m not a fan of the Gundam Wing style jetpacks.
Halo has its own style, it doesn’t need to mimic anime mecha design.
I agree that the Spartan IV looked a bit cheesy but I like the BR.

The armor looks like it needs to be a little more bulky.
I don’t like the look of the BR scope, it looks awful blue and square IMO.
The Spartan IV’s helemt looks like the Hayabusa helmet to me, I don’t have a problem with it, but what they should do, like in Halo 3, is give guests an option between 2-3 helmets (Mark V and CQB in H3).
I like everything about the new armor, except the boots.
I hate the BR design to the core. It looks like a grey nerf gun. It belongs in a f2p shooter or a mod or something. It’s just so damn dull and square.
If anything, I’m really concerned about MC’s proportions in Halo 4. Compared to 1-3, he’s build like Garrus from Mass Effect or something.
Don’t really like the BR, but the Spartan IV’s already look better than every piece of armor in the Reach armory other than Mark VI
