You may have a point. I would have hoped they would have been finely balanced but it seems that even the Br players were at a disadvantage. Br does seem beast for team shooting
I don’t care. There are a plethora of weapons you can use. It honestly doesn’t matter if one weapon is used anymore then the other. Why does no one complain that the plasma repeater is underused?

I’m complaining about how overpowered the dmr is compared the rest of the weapons and how underpowered the Br is
I’ll be using the carbine mostly but after watching the live stream I’ll have to choose DMR over BR if it comes down to it. It even looked like it owns at close range.

In the cod it looked like any Br user was being pummeled by a dmr user by far

LOL you’re gonna just assume that the BR will be underused based on 3 matches? Go look at all the other gameplay out on youtube.

Sounds like Chicken Little Syndrome.
Why not claim the whole rifle sandbox is out of balance because these players have yet to master the power of the Light Rifle?
Why not claim that the Carbine has absolutely no use to any player who can close the gap to a short ranged combat scenario?
Why not claim that it’s possible to play a bunch of Halo: Reach games and then not feel like using a burst-rifle when you’ve just kicked so much -Yoink- with a single-shot?
Let’s have this conversation in 3 months and then again in 7 months after a TU/Megalo-overhaul shall we?
> The BR would’ve been usable if was a 4sk instead of its underpowered 5sk
… And then we have to 4sk the DMR. I know it makes some happy that we’ve decreased spawn-weapon-only-use kill-times, however we have now created the same situation so it’s redundant to do in the first place.

Your probably right. I might have judges it too early. Lets see how it plays out shall we?

How so? It would be a tradeoff for players. Do they want more power and less range (BR) or less power and more range (DMR)?
When I see the current BR and DMR side by side, I can’t think of a single reason why I would use the BR. If I’m good, I can use the DMR in close range just as well as the BR. I don’t think the BR has a substantial rate of fire advantage over the DMR, so I don’t really consider that factor.
