Please reply here if you are also boycotting the game until they fix this absurdly bull -Yoink- lag. Big Team Infinity Slayer matches shouldn’t take an hour to complete, with all the host switching bull -Yoink-. Everyone on my friends list has quit playing because they are so -Yoinking!- pissed off at how -Yoinking!- lame the lag is. Fix it, or go out of business, nobody is going to buy another game from you if you continue to provide garbage service.

Think it’s just you and your friends, there doesn’t seem to be too many complaints about lag on here, certainly not to point of boycotting.
There’s a bit of lag for me but that’s understandable. No biggie.
Haven’t experienced ANY lag in Halo 4… Only in Spartan Ops, with my friend with bad connection.
Lag is YOUR fault. Not 343’s. YOU must buy a better connection. NOT 343.
Oh, and there is ALWAYS lag. In ANY game.
The thing about the lag is that it has been like this in every single halo i’ve played. And to an extent it is like that in Call of Duty. You need a better connection or learn to put up with it. I’m more annoyed with the Input Lag in Spartan Ops which was the same for Firefight in Reach.
Let it be known that i am not boycotting. My xbl trial runs out today.
Still, fix the lag if that is a game thing and not just a connectivity error on my part.

And I get lag all the time.
Battlefield 3 doesn’t lag. Reach Doesn’t lag. Halo Wars doesn’t lag.
NOT my connection. Awful netcode and the inability to search by good connection are the problems

some days i lag, other days i don’t. but when it’s lagging, it’s unbearable!!! not boycotting because i still love halo 4. i’m currently working on a forge map! in my opinion, the best map i’ve ever made!!!
I remember these “Let’s boycott this game until the lag is fixed” threads from Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Reach, pretty much all the CoDs, all the Battlefields, every game Ubisoft has released… Always fun to read.
Haven’t had any lag issues on Halo 4 until the last few days. My connection speed is perfect, the only game that has an issue with lag for me is Halo 4 now. Reach works fine, Creed works fine. Shots don’t reg in 4 tho. Very frustrating. Yes kiddies it is 343’s fault and per their admission of guilt and that they are “actively working on” fixing the problem. I’ll still try to play but at the first bit of lag I get I switch back to Reach for the day.
Huge lag for pretty much everyone I know in ontario and elsewhere in the world, to the point where we reached around SR50 (still a large investment in time) but no longer have an interest to play… Halo 4 matchmaking is brilliant, but if the lag isn’t addressed soon I fear that much support to the game might disappear. Even amongst the lag we maintained high k/d ratios so it wasn’t as though we were just frustrated because we were losing, it just genuinely was no longer fun due to how much lag was present.
For the most part i dont get a lot of lag, but sometimes. Its a teleporting nightmare.
If you hate the black screen and changing hosts, Quitters are your problem. Blame them. If they didn’t quit you wouldn’t have to worry about changing hosts nor black screen.

It’s a joke that’s quite easy to understand actually. The whole concept of saying someone has a Walmart connection really means that the internet is not as good as high speed broadband. Now, don’t get me wrong. Walmart is an excellent store that sells amazing products. However, in this context, the person who says someone has a “Walmart connection” means that the person with “W.C” has cheap internet. For example, lagging can occur.
WC can be compared to dial-up internet. Now, that’s slow!
I don’t play, its not an active boycott its just 1 in 5 games was playable with the others having a host in another continent.
This is not a quality of Internet provider issue, it only happens with Halo 4 with its -Yoink- matchmaking and host selection.
From what I gather it works ‘okay’ if your in the USA but if your not its just rubbish.
