For the greater, long-term good, I urge all individual players to stop using that playlist simply because it is the only FFA playlist.
Rest assured, nobody wants it as any part of the new FFA playlist either. It needs to be scrubbed clean from the Halo franchise.

I like regicide, it is a challenge to become king and stay there the majority of the game. I find it is easy to separate the good players from the bad ones by there actions is regicide, by this I mean the people who just rush the king all the time and the people who use the king as bait.
I disagree. I play Regicide the most.
I will say, however, that is is NOT an acceptable gametype to have as the only FFA gametype. I need a FFA that I can play to win. This is something that Regicide does not provide since it does not reward skill and is anybody’s game until the end.

I’m not a fan of Regicide. Sure give a bonus for killing the leader but don’t mark where they are on screen all the time. Maybe make their blob on the radar the bounty target but its ridiculous having it just being targeted all the time because it just punishes the top guy for doing well. I wouldn’t tell people to boycott it because they may enjoy it but I dont play it anyway by my own choice.
They have a Team Slayer Pro list so maybe at some point they will include FFA Pro but they have to be careful not to water down the player base too much. Maybe they will do a monthly rotation where the least popular game type gets rotated out.

To be honest I’d like there to be a regular FFA but don’t take regicide away, it’s given me my most outrageous win in this game yet by owning people which is on my fileshare if ppl wanna watch it!!!

I wouldn’t be too bothered if they added regicide to a normal FFA playlist since most people would never vote for it anyway. Infinity gametypes should just be quarantined away from the rest of matchmaking though.

well looking up the list you might see that you would still be playing it quite a bit…

Anyways, I’m sure we don’t need to boycott (Like that would change anything though) at all, because I’m sure in the weeks ahead 343 will be condensing playlists together, so we might just see a true FFA playlist emerge.

Regicide is better then default FFA. The fights are a hell of a lot more focused since players flock towards King and end up intercepting each other and such.

regicide is ok. Having a marker over your head I actually like, keeps people coming to me when I’m king so no hunting other players to kill. If the kill marker needs to be removed from anything it’s CTF
I love Free for All, but dude, Regicide is fun for a lot of people. If you don’t like it, don’t play it. There are other gamemodes to be added. Proof of that is SWAT being added a few days ago.
Just enjoy the gamemodes you like, don’t play the ones you don’t, and wait until 343 adds the ones you wish were there.
