We should setup a date and boycott the game. If we message all friends on our friends lists to do the same, I’m quite sure we could get an impact that is serious enough to put 343 on their feet. I’m urging all of you to drop down your controllers through the weekend of february 5-7th and post here demanding for action to be taken. It’s been a few months already and I’m tired and bored of playing just Slayer and Arena.
a better thing to boycott the game for would be regional servers. and as much as i like snipers now, thats really a dumb reason tbh to do this

Snipers is literally on there right now. It’s been there enough for 99% of the community to enjoy it. Doubles sucks imo and we don’t need anymore permanent playlists to break up the community. They put doubles on and they’ll have looked at the stats and guess what nobody played it. If masses of people truly loved it then they would have kept it.

Although I agree 100% that we need more playlists, especially team doubles and snipers, I have to point out that it would achieve nothing. A few of us wouldn’t play a game we’ve already paid for, what do 343 stand to lose exactly?
A better strategy would be to boycott Microsoft altogether, which is what I intend to do. I’m so sick of them, and won’t be buying the next Xbox if the current problems don’t get rectified satisfactorily.

Nah. I think I’ll just play the game because I don’t care for Team Doubles at all, and I barley touch Team Snipers in other games… like almost never.
Team doubles was fun when you had that team mate who…actually played. Not a bystander. 50/50
as for Snipers…well it was rarely Snipers, just people rapidly firing away doing no scopes on a small map.

doubles is not really a staple and your doing something that you were mad about in point one. Dont make a claim about the majorities opinion without any proof.
How about playlists like fiesta or oddball (i know ball modes come out next month) they vary much more than snipers or doubles which are just versions of slayer (doubles being the most generic of the two)
And doubles is not that popular, especially in halo 5, if you go to opening statements for the year that 343i posted they break down the holiday playlists in popularity and guess what doubles was 9/10. Thats right the second least popular playlist so he can make the claim that not many people play/like doubles.

You bought the game and you’re paying for XBL membership. You wouldn’t be boycotting anything. One weekend or day isn’t effective enough for them to notice anything either.
People said the same thing about boycotting Halo 5 as a whole because of MCC. Clearly didn’t happen.
Also, I’ve seen people complain that Team Snipers was put on the weekend playlist too many times, and now that it’s leaving, people want it back.
