I’m not boycotting the game, just playing it much less, but that’s just about the least of my reasons for putting it down.

Look I totally understand that euro players or anyone else outside the states have lag issues that we americans don’t have to deal with, BUT if you stop playing the game you aren’t helping make a change. If anything you’re saying your country is dying off, don’t bother supporting it. Play hard and constantly share your opinion on your gaming experience and changes will happen. Boycotting just makes you irrelevant. Be active and you’ll find a surprising amount of americans support international play too.
I personally love having international competition, and to ensure that exists we need to make sure the international community gets the best service too.

I live in the states and the connection is far worse without region lock. There is so much lag across the board, and I can only imagine what European players have to deal with. My shots do not register half the time and I get killed without any time to react due to shots stacking or skipping frames. I get shot around walls, have to deal with kills delaying and slowing down my ability to react to a second player. There is a no skill involved with laggy matches. Halo 5 should look at Titanfall which has a far superior matching system in place with region lock in effect.
No region lock = no skill = no competition at all
A bit late, they got plenty Req money and then however many Halo 5s sold. Better off offering constructive posts for Halo 6.

maybe you just have bad internet. i have been playng since the game came out, ive had no issue with lag what so ever
I personally prefer to have a quality product but surely as a community we can at least live with a little bit of lag every few games so that players in the least populated country’s can actually get a game.
Even with the occasional lag I still manage to have fun when I play, the only solution is that 343 give us the quality servers they promised at launch that way everyone wins (Except for 343/ Microsofts wallet). With or without Region Lock there are always going to winners and losers.

I live in Europe and I don’t have lag most of the time. What I do have is that I get dropped out of the game sometimes for no reason (literally). But that doesn’t make me stop playing halo 5.
