That’s what I’m doing. Both H3 and Reach had a lot of things in the beta that really annoyed the community, and besides armor lock, most of those things were fixed before they released the game. I firmly believe that if 343 let us play for a month and then listened to what we all had to say, then Halo 4 would have been amazing. Truly. I mean, Halo 4 can still be fixed if they start paying attention. But as far as Halo 5 goes, if 343 is stubborn and stuck up and think they know better then the people who pay them, then I won’t be buying the game. Halo 5 needs to have a lot more community influence.

I firmly believe that 343i, under the pressure of Microsoft, released the game way too early. They needed more time to fix out the kinks. I sincerely hope Halo 5 doesn’t come out for at least another 3 years and WITH a Beta, like you said.

Every Halo has had a ton of problems upon launch. Halo 4 is no exception.
A beta would do little. People would complain and call it incomplete anyway.

The point of a beta would be for people to complain about it. Your arguments make no sense. They do it so that they can figure out which ones of there new ideas work, and which ones are idiotic, and which guns are too strong/weak etc.

Just feeding fuel into the fire, yeah 343 haven’t done the best of jobs but Halo 4 is still a great game. If you boycott the next installment then fat chance of getting anymore Halo games after it… EVER.
But having a beta will definately make things better so kudos there.

yes the reach beta clearly made it more awesome, theres no way h5 would be bad with a beta…rolls eyes
In Halo 4’s current state I have no intention of purchasing Halo 5. I’m only here to see if things are going to get better. If not, I’m out. There’s plenty of other games out there more worthy of my time.
And if you take that as a “I’m too good for this game” vibe then I have nothing more to say to you.
343 assumed that we would love everything about Halo 4 so in their ultimate wisdom they decided not to release a beta. And what do you know? They were wrong.

Seriously though, this thread is about halo 5, not halo 4. wrong section. 
I’m going to Pre-order Halo 5 as soon as I can. I’ll even order extra for those who are going to boycott them to compensate for the lost numbers.
Oh by the way, Internet video game boycotts don’t work. See Left 4 Dead 2, Modern Warfare 2 PC and diablo III for examples.
