On Inside Gaming Daily today they showed the Halo 4 box art. I was disappointed to see that it was just the same picture of The Chief that we got last year at E3. Is this the actual box art, or is it just a placeholder for the real one similar to what Gears of War 3 did?
It’s a placeholder. Official box art will come soon enough. Probably at E3.

Good. The placeholder is fine, I just think they can do better than a picture they showed us a year ago.
I don’t think it’s final, but nonetheless it looks pretty good, IMO.
the cover art of the game doesn’t matter to me.
i like what they have right now, i wouldn’t mind it if they used it.
you can’t judge a game by its cover…

Yeah, but Halo has never really had generic box art. I really hope they do change from the current generic one.
