Hey guys, don’t rip me apart here but I have never bought a limited edition or legendary edition for any game really and I was just wonder if the box art will be used for the limited edition? It looked like it was a steel box. Im just curious because this will probably be the first special edition I will buy and I wanna make sure I get the box art on it…its really epic.
Help me out guys and don’t make fun, I really don’t know if the box art will be on the limited edition version.
Im in the same bind. I KNOW i will buy the limited edition, but will be sad that i wont have the normal box art. It is a steel box and doesn’t appear to feature the art. Im hoping to get a poster of the box art around launch instead to make up for it. Hell they will probably give posters out at launch.
Maybe Halo 4 will have the original game case along with the steel book (like what DICE did with battlefield 3) and I hope they do because I collect steelbooks but the original box art looks awesome.
im pretty sure the halo 4 box art will b the same for limited edition. when reach came out. the legendary game case and regular halo reach game were the same box art… i wouldnt worry at all

Unfortunatly they are not this is the steelbook while this is the box art. The limited edition may or may not come with the standard game case.

Well the steel book case looks better than any other I’ve seen so that’s good! and you might get the box art on the manual if you really want it…
Heres some info that may ease u. it appeaers there are creases in that iron case so that means if the back of it is the same then they cant have the game description written on it.Second it looks pretty thick, i feel the game boxart case is in that other case.and there is no way they can print pics on the back of an “iron” case. but i still worry about it too.

Well unless the silver game casing has the normal casing inside it, I doubt the box art will be coming with the limited edition. Here is the picture i’m basing my theories of.
It seems like there won’t be that much in the way of box art, which is something of a shame with all the lovely looking (presumably) Forerunner Architecture evident in the game designs.

Hopefully they’ll print the regular box art’s full picture on the other side of the Spartan IV poster. 
no it wont have the box art the standard edition has, for the LE the game will be inside a metal UNSC themed case.
I too love the look of the box art, but the silver case for the LE is sleek looking to. I’ll just have to buy the regular edition wayyyy later when it is cheaper so I can complete my collection.
There will be a normal copy inside of the metal case, you can just take it out of the metal case if you want to see the box art, and set it next to your other games.
At least that’s how halo reach legendary/limited worked.
