Bounty Hunters, and what led to their downfall

Is there still contracts out there? Are people still actively hunting down targets for credits or reqs? What happened to the Bounties and what led to the downfall of people taking contracts?

I don’t even know what you are talking about, was this in the early days of h5?

Brother, sorry for my ignorance, but who are the bounty hunters?

Maybe he’s talking about something from canon? I dunno.

Does he mean Headhunters?

Googled “Halo bounty hunter” and got this

Can’t say it clarified anything for me as far as OP’s question goes…

EDIT: maybe it has something to do with this Canon Fodder post?

Oh hold on, this might be related to Halo clans. Once heard about it when a few peoples accidentally didn’t set their mics on to party only. Something about a player being “hired” to take out another player (ingame of course). Not sure if that involves betrayals or just killing in matchmade games, nor do I know what the payment would actually be. One of the more role play-y elements I’ve heard in Halo.

As for an answer, no clue, are clans even still around?

Well, boba fett got eaten by the sarlac* and Jango fett was beheaded by mace windu. Other major bounty hunters from the movies include dengar, greedo, and ig-88. Most of them went the way of the mando, I assume, joining a guild and taking good bounties on people.
however in reference to halo, I have no clue at all what you mean

*unless you watched the mandalorian

That would be a cool concept if you got challenges that way XD idl how they would work exactly, but that almost sounds like some unnecessarily ridiculous clan thing. Back in the early days of halo I was in one and it was fun. No special requirements, no “tryouts”, nothing, just a bunch of people gaming together. Anything I hear about nowadays clans are funny. Literally people “tryout” to join lmfao :joy::rofl::joy:

Is this Halo Canon or Multiplayer?
