Boundless ForgeWorld.

Okay, well let me begin with the time before Halo:Reach existed, Bungie did many lovely Vidocs in relation to forge. They sold it well however when we got the actual game it was phony, this post is all in relation to 1 fact of forge world.
(Someone said it would take 5 minutes to cross forgeworld, wrong. it takes precisely 5 minutes to cross the outside of Winter contingency from the top mountain outside of the map to the other side with a falcon, afterburners punched the whole way)

It is tiny.

When the T.U. is released i am sure there are many people out there that would appreciate more forge space in a map that wont eat you after 10 seconds of being to near its mouth. (out of the map) it is big and alot of it has space that is Flat and as we know forgeworld has 1 Flat space of area. and that is enclosed and dark.
Outside is a large flat plain that you can walk on and

Now i am sure people would be disagreeing with the post because most of the outside land is unfinished.
this would not be a problem, people wouldnt have to much of a care towards that as we would have more forge space and more room to fly/drive/hover and build.

All that would need to be done is a small update which gets rid of the Safe area around forgeworld.

It would be much appreciated if this post is taken into consideration for the Halo: Reach T.U.

I agree that the map was hyped more than it should have been, I was a little let down when I actually flew across the map and it was smaller than I had expected

yeah, it wasn’t much of a forge world. more like a forge island complex…

I agree, it should be bigger. I think we should be able to go to the giant field outside the map or the forest area on the mountain by hemorrage. Either way id be happy.

definately, I fell like forge world was over hyped, my only place to forge effectively is the water, or hemmorage, but i was way excited about forging near te tunnel, and that small canyon part wasnt nearly as cool., that and the “flat” area above the colloseum is definately NOT flat.

though you need to understand that they NEED a safe area to run the map, all they need to do is make it bigger.

I also agree, forge world was exagerated to much, they made it seem as though it was gigantic, and really it’s actually quite small, theres alot of unexplored territory on forge world and I expect that we should be able to forge on it.

At a certain point items cannot be forged outside, lets say you get to the flat island, before time runs out you set an object down it will dissapear, the problem is this area was not meant to have items placed. I agree id love forge world to have more area and if 343 can do it then im for it, but it will take more then dissasembling the killzone simply because you PHYSICALLY cannot place an object out in that area…yet.

Alright, so Forge World is so big that the game can’t handle rendering it all along with some forge pieces, it decreases the frame rate to focus on critical calculations to keep the game running. I don’t think that the map that is collapsing under its own weight needs to be expanded.

There is a simple fix. The un-forgable areas are basically the same as kill boundaries for players. Just eliminate the forge barrier along with the kill barrier, and it’ll be fine.

I think it is more then anything I was expecting. It already is big enough, why complain about it?

The first time I played that map I was blown away. It was not underwhelming in any way, shape or form.

A lot of the extra space in forgeworld isn’t even real. It’s badly textured, and most of it doesn’t even have solidity.
