Bought Xbox One specifically for MCC

I have had some decent fun, but the game is not even close to as good as it could be with a few minor changes. I feel adding playlists right away will make the game a hundred times more fun.

This list of issues is why this game has been disappointing me in order from biggest issue to smallest:- #1 Issue:The game needs more individual playlists for each game. H3 MLG + Team Snipers + Multi-team needs added right away. - Dedicated servers are hit and miss…They work about 10 to 20% of the time on H2C for me. It seems to vary day to day, not sure why.- Ranking Glitch. This is why half my ranked games are uneven teams, because people are doing the network shut off glitch to get ranked up to 50. Fix this now, its a really simple glitch- Games ending when the host leaves. Definitely happens on H2C, not sure about others.- Crashes and matchmaking fail. Sometimes I find games back to back for hours straight. Others, I log on and get 1 messed up game after another. I just turned my xbox off because I spent 20 minutes joining messed up games. The game crashed upon loading the map, I got a 2v4, and I got unfair teams and it backed me out.- I often get 3v3’s and I HATE 3v3’s. There’s less people to kill which means less multikills and fun. It’s also easier for one team to dominate in 3v3.- “Respawning in 4” on Halo 2 Classic. I have no idea why this hasn’t been patched yet.- Dead people on radar. I just recently noticed this happening in halo 2 classic. I will kill someone, move around and notice their dead body shows up on radar and it trips me out. Seems to only happen when I get host.That pretty much sums up my complaints. I’m not going to bother complaining about the UI glitches because you can get around those. I started playing halo over 10 years ago when only Halo:CE was out. I have thoroughly enjoyed halo. I really respect you 343 for trying to bring halo back but this has been a terrible launch. Halo 2 was by far my favorite and after seeing the pre-release tournament for Halo MCC I had to buy an xbox one, so I did. People like me who spent 500+$ specifically for this remake would like to know what is going on. I feel that you have not been communicating at all because you’re under the fire. I have been more than patient and expect timelines of when t hings might be fixed. The game is no where near what was promised.

I wish nothing more than to reminisce and enjoy the old Halos again, but with this many issues and lack of matchmaking, I find myself not getting half the experience I could get. You guys are almost there in making this game legit. I have no doubt it will one day be what it should be. I just hope your crowd isn’t gone by the time its working smoothly.

Really? Almost every game I get has BR starts. Kind of annoying honestly. I’ll trade you: Your AR starts for my BR starts. Sound good?

i bought an x1 only for halo

i do hope they can fix MCC up to it’s full potential.

(but I’m really enjoying halo CE on live and the H5 beta)

For some reason my Matchmaking issues haven’t been nearly as bad as those of others. MCC has been relatively good for me since week 2 or 3 actually. I also experience that “Respawn in” counter getting stuck in Halo 2 classic occasionally, though.

And I also bought an X1 for Halo :stuck_out_tongue: I tried to deny it by getting Forza Horizon 2 and Diablo III, but it’s Halo that was the main reason haha

The matchmaking has been working for me, sometimes a bit slow. I just with the menus and playlists were better…Reach was great in that respect.

I bought XB1 for the same reason. I recently just sold my XB1 as I should have stuck to Counter Strike Global Offensive on my PC as it actually works for a fraction of the cost & 1000 times better. It is a shame as I’ve thouroughly enjoyed the halo series to this point.

Another thing I’m really disappointed about is the Zanzibar remake. It looks really nice and everything, but with the added lift, the nerfed small sniper base, the map is a giant slaughter fest and almost no base has safe spots. It’s insanely ridiculous to just die no matter what base or where you are standing because people randomly shoot you across the map.

If you camp at the small sniper base you’re asking to die because fusion coils and lack of line of sight terrain.

One last thing to add, it’s really annoying how the only game (out of all 5 halos on this collection) that has decent playlists is H2A.
