Bought the map pack on a friends xbox

I bought the Crimson map pack while I was at a friends house on his xbox instead of waiting until i got home. I was told that this restricts me from certain features since his was the first I downloaded the pack on. Is there any way I can change to my xbox so I can get these? Also, he is able to play all the maps on the map pack even though he didnt buy the map pack on his account

I hope that’s not the case because I had to download it to my old crappy xbox elite because I had to ship my power supply to Microsoft and it took them 2 months to send me a new one. So now that I have my new power supply and playing on my newer xbox I hope this is not the case with me as well because I’m in the same boat sort of.

If you bought it under your account you should be able to go to:

Xbox Guide > Settings > Account Management > Download History and then re-download it.

If that doesn’t work then you should look into transferring the licence from his console to your own.
