I played Black Ops II (I think) for the first time at my friend’s house, and a thought that had bothered me for a while popped back into my head. Why can’t you play against bots in Halo? And don’t tell me it’s because Halo’s AI sucks, because the ones in Black Ops II are just as bad. I feel like an offline practice mode could help some of the newer players. Yes, some people are still only just picking up Halo 5, like one of my other friends, who said he’s getting Halo 5 today. So yeah, offline practice against bots with a difficulty of your choice would help newer players greatly, let you play against quiet AI instead of some person on the other side of the country yelling “OH MY GOD!!! A TRIPLE!!!” or “HAX!!! TOTALLY HAX!!! AIMBOT!!! CHEATER!!!” into his mic. Plus it would let some of the more “eh” players feel good about themselves

Well, there is campaign*
*Not gonna mention WZFF because it’s really not friendly to new players who don’t have many reqs

Instead of making an offline practice mode, they should just let us spawn AIs in forge. I’m hoping that will be a thing in Halo 6.

It would be difficult for 343i to set up AI’s as players, seeing as how many more people have so, so different play styles. Especially when you have campers, sure Black Ops II had AI that would camp but Halo is just a better game than Call of Duty, it has more story, it doesn’t change a story every game, it has kept roughly the same story since Halo CE’s release in 2001. Master Chief, John Sierra 117, finds some great evil that has to be stopped at all costs (Halo CE, 2, and 3 with the Halo Rings, Halo 4 with The Didact, and Halo 5, with evil corrupted Cortana.) The only ones that stray are Halo Wars, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Wars 2 (gonna count it), Halo Spartan Strike and Assault.

The play styles comment is exactly correct. In Halo you have so many different players types, strafes, preferred weapons, map awareness and the list goes on. In COD everyone is pretty similar.

Also Halo can’t have bots because it has a greater amount of story when compared to CoD. And it has, like, three more story. Finally, the increased quantity of story in Halo is another reason why there are no bots. Story.
