Bots spawning with the wrong team

I’ve had a few games recently where an enemy bot spawned directly behind my team and just starts back smacking us. One was a close fought attrition game and that bot definitely won it for the opposition.

I’ve previously had issues with bots spawning in random places instead of with the enemy team (i.e. You encounter them much earlier than should have been possible) but this was obviously much more annoying.

Not really sure when it started happening, as I don’t remember it happening around launch, so I assume something broke with one of the updates. I think it also only happens on later rounds of multi round games like oddball and attrition, rather than at the start of matches but I can’t be sure.

Have other people been having this issue? If it’s not a well known issue I guess I will submit a bug report.

Considering this has been an outstanding issue for over a year, the bot MP director (or whatever their title was) left, that they have not added any of the three new MP maps to bot bootcamp, and that the bots still walk off of cliffs and still get stuck inside of each other … I have lost all hope for the bots being fixed.

Thanks for the reply, really adds some context to the problem. I wasn’t sure whether to take the lack of response as it wasn’t a widespread issue or if it was just well known and not really news anymore.

Not surprised about the lack of effort into bot boot camp since they cut it away completely until the backlash got too bad.
