Who else thinks bots should be put in as an option for multiplayer? It could benefit the people that don’t have xbox live.
And 343, may you please put Spartan Ops S1 from Halo 4 onto Halo 5 without online connection? So players without live from H4 can experience spartan ops? Thanks (:
I don’t see why not… (as long as they can’t snipe you across the map with a unguided needler round like some bots do in COD with shutguns…)
custom games only, yes. Online matchmaking, no.
I remember having enemy bots on a James Bonds game, Nightfire I believe it was, and that was one the best gaming experiences I’ve had.
Also timesplitters had bots too, and that was another one of my favorite gaming experiences.
If Halo did it, it would be cool and really fun.

hell yeah, that game was a blast ! invite some friends & activate some bots & endless fun was ahead. this was one of the first FPS i played & introduced me into FPS-games.
i’m all in for bots.
Stick them in a limited number of playlists, sure. Action Sack style. But not in Objectives, or any kind of ranked playlist at all.
Bots are a fart-around feature. They could be quite cool and fun, but have no business interrupting the play of those folks who get enjoyment out of the competitive side of Halo.
I wish the polls would be placed IN the OP, instead of above. I always vote before I’ve read the OP. I voted no bots. But bots would be OK in offline multiplayer.

Playing Spartan Ops earlier today and having the Covies on multiplayer maps gave me an idea that you could have bots as Covenant (maybe just Elites to keep the general flavor of shielded enemies) running around. Setting their difficulty would be fun, too.
Just had a thought, bots would drive the vehicles horrendously if campaign is any indication. The idea could work and I love it because some of my best FPS memories are with bots in MP, but 343 wouldn’t do it, incentive for paying to play online, etc, etc, same old story.
