Bots in matchmaking are a massive problem

The bots get around 1 kill and 457 000 deaths per game.
Having a bot on your team is a bigger disadvantage than just being a player short.
Bots are point farms for the enemy and almost always a ticket straight to defeat.
The whole team gets extra punished for a team mate leaving.
I’d say get them out of matchmaking and have them for customs and training only. Alternately try putting them on Spartan difficulty and see if that balances it out more.

I don’t care what anyone thinks about my opinion,

Whoever came up with this idea to replace players with useless bots was a really bad idea, and that is putting it lightly.

There has been way too many unreasonable unnecessary changes to what a Halo game is.

I can’t even imagine how what 343 did to Infinite that they thought it “was a good thing”.

The bots are great, they could certainly use some improvements though. Spartan difficulty would be welcome at my level (high plat), but they would be way too strong for a lobby of golds and silvers. I would like to see the bot difficulty vary based on the rank of the player that left.

After experiencing Bots for awhile, my opinion on them is that they are terrible additions to matchmaking, even in a Social playlist. In the very beginning, I was open to see how they would work but even with the difficulty increase I still lose matches purely because a Bot ran out into the open instead of staying back with the team or they ignored the objective or they picked the objective up and ran off an edge and screwed the team. I’d prefer if the game remained 3v4 until the Join in Progress forces a real player to play.

I get what they were trying to do, but Bot Bootcamp and Custom Games is the only acceptable place for Bots. Bots should not be in matchmaking because Bots are a wild card that most of the time hurt your team more than help it in all of my experience.

Definitely put bots on spartan difficulty. it won’t be enough but it’s a step in the right direction

They should just get kicked from the game if they die three times without a kill or an assist.

I think bots in matchmaking are cool. they are good teammates

I play warm up matches of me and a bot vs 4 bots before jumping into ranked play. Yes they play like idiots and run right into the action, but something I found interesting is at the end of the match they were putting out a good amount of damage. If I was leaving them all to themselves it was all going to waste. So in my warm ups i try to stay somewhat close to them and grab a lot of easy assisted kills that way.
Not sure if that helps but just something I have noticed in my own play.
