so a friend of mine owns a halo 4 LE and he downloaded both map packs when released,
and none of them work… it says player missing content or something along those lines.
he tried redownloading tons of times, clearing cache, redownloading TU.
nothing has worked
any ideas?
Where exactly is he downloading from? The marketplace directly, the in game prompt in the main menu, or the prompt in the playlist?
What is he downloading to? A hard-drive or a portable storage device? How much space is left on it?
Also, is he downloading it on his console or a friends console?
Yeah, the same thing’s happening to me with the Majestic Map pack. Hope this gets resolved soon, and it’s be a shame if the next and final map pack also encounters problems like these!

Hard drive, more than 50gigs
and also from the ingame menu prompt.
also tried downloading from other places still the same thing.

his own console…
bumping this, still need help.
anyone?
Has he deleted the map packs from his hard drive and then redownloaded them from his download history. Sounds like the map pack files are corrupt for whatever reason.

tried everything.
nothing worked, plus its not the cd since he got like 4 lol (won some)
You said everything but Try this. Delete disk 2 ( and 1 if its installed) from the hard drive along with the map packs, title updates and season pass/LE pass. Then clear cache and restart the console. Then install disk 2 again. Then launch the game and download prompted TUs. Go back to the dashboard and redownload your season pass/LE pass and map packs from your download history. If that doesn’t work there may be an issue with the HDD.
