Why was Bot bootcamp removed? I get that nobody played it (which is good because its practically a tutorial game mode) but my partner who doesn’t touch FPS games ever really enjoyed playing it with me seeing as she cant play anything else with me on the game without getting thrashed by my MMR. I don’t see a reason to remove it when it wasn’t taking players from other playlists I also don’t remember it being mentioned that it was getting removed? Please add it back I can’t possibly see how it would ever be a detriment to keep it this has genuinely really upset her as we pretty much cannot play the game together now.
Please.

It got removed because it had the least amount of players and it was taking up one of the limited amount of MP Playlists slots. And possibly also because Bootcamp along with the new XP system would lead to people finishing the 30 tier and even the 100tier Battle passes in one day.
For what it is worth ya’ll can fight bots in customs and/or play Co-op campaign now that it is out.

well it makes sense, since on pc you can’t even play custom games offline anymore.
i guess they will remove lan next since it’s now useless. i’m officially done with this game now, i don’t care what new campaigns are in the works…i just can’t support this kind of bs.

Maybe but just remove the per game xp from it and just have the daily xp like it used to so people like her can still enjoy the game and get stuff. There is now no way for people like her to play the game and also be rewarded in any way.
are you blind, people played it, I played it every night after a cod session because it provided me a relaxed way to play halo to wind down it shouldn’t have been removed, they spoke about play your way well my way is bot boot camp

I not sure where those who say no one played it, is getting their info from. But me personally any time I played Bot Bootcamp I was in a match within 2 to 5 seconds. On the PvP side I would be waiting for minutes at a time. Even the so callled popular modes where 30 seconds to a couple of minutes and 30 seconds was the fastest and it rarely happened. Also majority of the game in PvP I had at least one person quit, heck recently it been at least two. Bot Bootcamp I haven’t had anyone quit. And not to mention I don’t have a player that just stands there doing nothing.

That still would not solve the issue of it being the lowest populated playlist and taking up a slot that could be used up by a PvP mode that needs matchmaking more.
In boot camp you’d be looking for 3 other players, not 7-23 others. SBMM was turned off, which meant that the game was not looking for players that matched your “skill level.” That is why it took such a short time to get a match going compared to MP, despite the outstandingly low number of players in BB.
