That’s fine. You’re not really playing PvP or PvE.
LFG is a great way to meet people.
Doable in customs. And you have access to more fun and different game types on larger maps, larger score to win, longer time limits and with more bots set to custom difficulty settings that BB does not offer.
16v16ODSTbots
4v28spartanbots
1v31
etc.
If you truly enjoy playing BB as a game mode (like you could have fun without XP). Play this week. Add people you meet. LFG for people. and set up customs for the future.
I see a lot of people making this mistake. I see people them say “the ult reward is the only thing that keeps playing this bland game” or a different version of the same “i don’t enjoy the game but i play because of some XYZ having to do with XP and cosmetics”. Yall should leave and play another game until Infinite pulls a cyberpunk and fixes the game. This ain’t a prison, you’re free to be free. You don’t owe Halo nothing.
It sometimes sounds like some Halo fans got Stockholm syndrome or something.
Personally i went back to destiny 2. Ima comeback to infinite when the network issues are sorted. And I would like to know when FF is returning, if it even is.
Such clause on their TOS is void outside of the United States and wherever Microsoft operates can be used a court to litigate against them. Get-out-of-court clauses have little to no legal validity outside of Ancapistan.
If what you said held water someone would have already taken 343i/MS to court over this or one of the other other broken promises since a lot of stuff that they said would be in the game is missing or cancelled. But what do i know, talk to a lawyer and see if what you said holds water.
Me and my capacity to use a search engine cant produce results for something you made up in your dreams.
if that was true I’d wouldn’t have a better time finding a bot boot camp match then I do trying to get a quick play or rank match
i get matched for bot faster then actual PvE that tells me that PvE has more traffic then PVP or that there’s always a opening where PVP is full so it puts a long -Yoink!- que since players like to drag out matches in PVP specifically objective bases ones like Flag and they also do it in bot boot camp too
So true, i have waited for 5 minutes to play a PvP to complete a challenge. But anytime I play bot bootcamp, with in seconds I am in a match. And it is so much fun and relaxing to play. I can also use it warm up after not playing for a week or two. Due to life being too chaotic.
I have already gone back to H5 Firefight. I now consider Infinite a sunk cost. No more MP, but I will come back for campaign DLC. I definitely wish I could have the time and money I invested in Infinite back. I missed a year that I could have used to break more records in Firefight. What is done is done though.
It is sad that the lack of PvE has so many of us down about Bot Bootcamp leaving. I guess 343 must have data supporting that PvP is the way to go. Oh well. Thank goodness for FF!
this means the end for me in matchmaking, its the most relaxed playlist and best start for beginners, i hope really it returns. i stick to custom games and training mode or forge and campaign as long as its not back
Okay, but is there actually a Bot mode where you can play with three other online players? If you can’t, then does it really matter? There’s a reason why a lot of people appreciated the original Bot matchmaking. It made completing at least some of the challenges less brutal.
You know not everyone just plays the game to play the game. That’s why people are asking for a progression system. You know, a goal to work on. Something that literally every game prior to this one has had on launch. Progression and multiple options to complete challenges matter.
That is a good thing to have. But if you are not enjoying the game, what’s the point of ranking up in it’s progression system?
I agree…with stipulations. As in PvP challenges should be done only in PvP. We should get campaign challenges to be done only campaign. Same for PvE challenges for when that gets added.
