Im glad its coming back but the “it’ll take some time” doesnt fill me with much confidence. Everything seems to take 5 times long for halo games than it should ![]()
This is a new one to complain about. I didn’t even know that this so-called ‘Bot Bootcamp’ was even in the game to begin with. Plus, shouldn’t your kids be playing something more family friendly like Fortnite or Minecraft and not a violent first-person shooter that they’ll get dominated and cussed out on?
Wrong attitude tbh should be encouraging the new generation to play not pushing them elsewhere
As though we didn’t play as kids…
do you see a other PVE game mode?
we not know if there is a new version of firefight is coming at all to halo infinite.
if thats the reason why 343 has remove bootcamp to move then to the other playlist’s to play against other players then its there call to do so.
since its there game not us.
i play only the campaign mode in halo infinite and hallo i am also a EX cod player so i know really good that each player has there own style in each game.
the question i only got was more whats so fun to play against some bots since its sounds so boring.
and the bots in halo infinite are not that strong at all there so weak.
its the same if you can compleet the campaign mode only on easy mode and there is no harder setting at all.
dude the game mode’s i enjoy are not in halo infinite at all.
there is no grifball or living death game mode at all so there can never be taken away at all since there not in the playlist in the first place.
and if there bring back the 2 game mode’s its only wrong from 343 to remove it after some weeks since both off then are the most favoriete game mode’s in the halo serie’s.
and still like i told before.
if there bring it back also i still not going to play it since i hate the force crossplay setting at all since i not wane play with the PC communety at all.
so if i wane play the multiplayer in the first place there need to chance a lot off things first.
Toxic is toxic no matter how you spin it. Just because the toxic extreme of competitive players is bad, does not mean that the extreme casual toxicity is good.
The only culprits for infinite being how it has been is 343i. Nobody else. There are plenty of pro players that came out and said that 343i asked for their advice and then ignored the vast majority of their requests. Causal players, like me, have also asked 343i to tone down SBMM in social as well as asking when/if a PvE mode like firefight would would be coming. Similarly, we have been been told no, nothing, or been ignored.
They have had every reason to be upset since day one. I’m happy they stopped playing and supporting Infinite. I respect those people. I’m those people. But those that complained about the game being awful and chose to stay anyway, they have zero standards. Those peoples’ brand loyalty means more to them than their spines. Look where that landed them. Even though disappointment was the most likely outcome for this group of people, I still feel bad for them. As we say in my country: you made your bed, now lay in it.
For everyone else who played it because they are young, bad at the game etc. It sucks. I still don’t see how the toxicity towards people who offer some help by suggesting that they replicate BB in customs is doing them or the community any favors. I get it, you don’t earn XP, but at least they could play the thing they enjoyed until BB or a PvE mode comes backs. I guess hurt people really do hurt people.
It’s not clear to me, what is your problem then? Because I just see that you are saying the same thing but then the opposite. What exactly is happening.
Other than 343i dropping the ball on the whole game and taking a year to add anything worth while, I don’t have one.
I’ve simply given possible reasons (speculations) for BB being taken out and been letting people know that they can replicate BB in customs. TBH i think BB in customs plays way better than the MM version ever did. But people take that to mean I’m defending 343i. Other peoples interpretation is out of my hands.
When i say the thing that the people who are upset about want to hear, i get likes or nothing. When i bring up the thing they don’t want to hear, i get hate. I feel like people want me to agree 100% one way or the other, but I don’t feel like its that cut and dry.
Lets take you for and example. Had nothing to say when i was not agreeing with a toxic person saying that BB had to go because kids played it, but the moment i said that a casual person was behaving in a toxic matter…Boom! My opinion does not matter. When I suggest people replicate BB in customs, you say I’m part of the problem why Halo is dying.
Things you wanna here
things you don’t want to hear ![]()
While its true that i do not like BB at all, I still felt like giving those who liked it an alternative way to keep playing it. Weather i get hate for it doesn’t really matter in the long run. Especially since BB is confirmed to be coming back…at some point.
Mmmmmmmmmmm… I think I understand you now
this is now something you hear a lot more that some people are the reason why halo is dying.
when we all know the real reason why halo is dying.
since there is lack of contant problem, lack of playlist to choose out from, a cheater problem and a lot of more reason that have make sure halo is dying now.
and its all 343 side where it go’s wrong not the communety.
same with telling then that F2P is a wrong move to do and not make crossplay force since you make the problems only worse.
and on launch day a lot off people have told from we told you so its going to happing wrong.
in the end this remembers me good in the black ops 4 day’s from cod when normal players like us always get ignore by the problems and there only care about the pro’s players voice.
It was probably removed because people will blast threw the challenges and they would level up the battle pass fast. Also, the population count was most likely very low. The games terrible engine/UI probably had something to do with it being removed as well. As in, it couldn’t handle the changes to the challenges linked to the weeklies or something.
Now, a simple solution would be just make it so people can’t complete the weekly challenges in that playlist and don’t give any xp when playing that mode or very little, like 10xp. Done and done! Mode is still in, everybody wins!! But nope! can’t do that, That’s too easy ![]()
This game has so many issues it’s ridiculous!! The decisions 343 make are usually mind boggling as well. It’s so sad the state of the once mighty Halo franchise has become ![]()
I broke in tears when i saw ranked double was gone.
Then again when i wanted to warm up playing bots (yes yes there is acadmy). Then again when i found out how hard the BR is to use… it have been a hard couple of days as you can imagine:b
Progress through the season pass is reflective only of time spent playing the game or indicative of the amount of money a player is willing to spend to avoid the process entirely. It should ultimately be irrelevant how a player invests that time within the game to work through it and unlock the rewards. Penalising players further than they already did, through the specifics of the challenge system, for engaging with the bot bootcamp mode as their preferred method because it isn’t PVP is a bizarre notion. The items acquired are not reflective of player skill but investment. Prioritising the purely competitive aspect of the Halo experience above and beyond the social or the co-operative is a guiding light of design at 343i that has, in part, resulted in the issues the franchise has experienced under their guardianship.
343 really does hate letting players play the way they want to, they keep trying to force everyone to play PVP only but it’s not for everyone some people prefer to actually enjoy the game instead of play like a sweat or get destroyed by others playing like sweats.
Why does it even matter if people level up fast it gets the battle pass out of the way. It also lets players play however they want without needing to think about which mode will give them the most XP. 343 needs to understand that people do not like being forced to play a game a way they don’t enjoy. The whole point in games is to have fun the way you want not be told how you are supposed to play.
It does not matter to the players, why would it, but it matters to 343i because they can keep you playing longer. They would not be the first company to removed an activity because it rewards too much XP. I don’t support this, but i get it.
You can play however you want in customs, but won’t make the jump because of XP. Despite all of 343i bad decisions, the players too need to understand if they are playing something for enjoyment or are they are playing for XP.
when bootcamp loads i too had a wait time for almost instant, everytime, a lot of people , from different skills and classes, all the time. and at the pvp playlists i had longer wait times than 3 or 5 minutes, i often tought if the servers were down XD or maybe… they dont have enough players, but in bootcamp there are as our waiting times are incredible fast there. and i made a lot of friends, good friends here in bot bootcamp, next to that it isnt frustration like in PvP you often here annoying people in PvP but in bot bootcamp when people have mic they talk funny and friendly. every game i played were the players are as a team against bots they are friendly with each other and i made most friends there, next to that its relaxing and not everyone likes PvP ( as me ) and want PvE or firefight you can make more friends here too ![]()
So any word on when this is coming back? Knowing 343 it’ll probably take 6 months, but I can still ask, right?
Guys YouTuber Kevinkoolx made a video describing this topic and in his video he read a tweet on Twitter from 343 saying Bot Bootcamp will return in a future update reason for its removal right now is cause they want to tweak and rework the Bot Bootcamp game mode.
I’ve never seen anyone link that tweet ever. All I hear are vague second-hand accounts of it. I for one am freaking tired of having to put up with 343’s constant blunders. This level of incompetence should’ve had them shut down months ago.
