Bot bootcamp being gone broke my kids hearts

Don’t hold your breath man, been waiting for an answer on splitscreen PC for 3 years. This was after they were talking about it to! 343s great at disappointing and absolutely -Yoink!- the community off I’ll give them that

do you know the real reason then?

since only i can think a few why there have remove it.

While this was not an issue in the old XP system and 6 month seasons. This could be a real reason for the removal as 343i moves towards 3 month seasons with the new XP model. If BB was still live with this new XP system, players could burn through the 100 tier passes in 167 games (~13 hours) compared to ~400 games with the old system.

PvP or PvB, 343i has already told us one reason why they remove playlists from MM. That reason being low player population within a playlist.

Because its bots you only need half the population of other playlists though. So unless the playlist actually has less than a 100 active players it shouldn’t be an issue. Also player bots in your own team are a thing.

Lol bot bootcamp didn’t suffer from low player count. Easiest playlist to populate. It was probably drawing people away from other modes and 343 was like no! You play how we want you to play!!

so if there told us the reason why there remove the bot bootcamp why do we have a complain thread about its been remove then?
i can understand you not agree with there choose about it but still you know if there going to remove it for something like that you know complaining has no use at all.

Not true at all.

Form the September playlist update.

"PLAYLIST RANKINGS

Quite a few folks were surprised to hear that Last Spartan Standing was hovering around the bottom of the list given how much they personally enjoy it. Naturally, this raises the questions of what are the most popular playlists and how do my favorite playlists currently fare?

Here’s a stack ranked list of Halo Infinite’s playlists over the past month to give you an idea of what’s most popular and where players are spending their time:

  1. Quick Play
  2. Ranked Arena
  3. Fiesta
  4. Team Slayer
  5. Big Team Battle
  6. Tactical Slayer
  7. Land Grab
  8. Ranked Doubles
  9. Team Doubles
  10. Team Snipers
  11. Rumble Pit
  12. Bot Bootcamp"

Because voice complaints is one of the reasons why the forums are here.

Some people do not know that 343i have stated their reasons. Hence why they are saying “they game us no warnings” or “they removed it for no reason.” Either way, they have the right to complain the same way that people who complained about FFA and LSS have.

And? Still takes half the people to populate said play list which will also skew the numbers to show every other single playlist higher because of course youre going to have more players in a 4v4 human match against a 4 humans vs 4 bots match. I really don’t trust a word out of 343 anymore either everything that comes out of them I take with a grain of salt.

Its not about how many people it takes to start a match. That’s not how playlist player population works. If it did than two 2v2 playlists would not have been ranked higher than a 4v4 playlists and an 8 player FFA playlist.

That’s fine, I’m the same way. But unless you or I can provide an alternative source for playlist populations then their word is the only one we have to go by.

None of us know the reason, as there hasn’t been an official statement on it. Everything else is just speculation. However while it was active for the last year, if playing Bot Slayer was “doing it wrong”, then it would have been addressed sooner. It was there, and some challenges worked from it by design.

Things have to rotate in and out. The reason why Halo 2 and 3 had so many playlists was because hundreds of thousands of people played the game daily and it was sustainable. Halo Infinite doesn’t have that same level of player count. So, when playlists don’t have a healthy player amount they get removed. We finally got team doubles and it’s gone already.

and that is now one off the big problems we have in halo infinite.
that if there remove or chance something in the matchmaking we never get the official statement from it why its been remove or chance.
and thats a problem we have told on the forum few month’s back all that we got sick off it that we not get the info from things why its been remove or chance.
now you only get speculations about why its been remove or chance and thats not good.
that point has been share all on the forum for a few month’s that there give no info about things there chance or remove at all.

i know that but its not helping at all since there not listing at all see more the past few month’s about a lot off things people have complain about.

the question is more how there do it.
if there only share it on twitter or the support page and not on the forum also then you have found the reason why some people do not know it.

But, it doesn’t make sense, people who play BB literally don’t play PVP at all, therefore they have never counted for good or bad in the rest of the playlists. Basically, by removing this, they have removed one more% of their base players, since this% is not going to go to play PVP now, but they are going to stop playing directly.

Absolutely, demonstrably false. Changes are conveyed in updates, even regarding feedback on playlist rotations. Saying that we never get statements or updates is overdramatic.

so long there is no official statement about the bot bootcamp remove.
all the things you can think about why its been remove can be true since there is no official statement from then all is it the stupids reason you can think about can be true so long there is no official statment about it all the rummors about it can be true.

Lets hope they bring it back with more options.
Perhaps a spin on invasion.

Surely bot bootcamp was the best avenue to i troduce more PVE without major updates.

Like one would assume ai dropped into arena maps would function fine enough and if you have campaign installed theres no reason it would balloon the file size right?

And? Realistically, it’s been two days. That we haven’t heard anything as of yet is not the end of the world.

It’s almost as if they just left things in like the old days they’d have players content and playing what they’d like. People coming to play their expected game mode to find it removed with no explanation are gonna take their gaming elsewhere. It’s very counter intuitive the way they’ve approached all of this.

there are a lot off things where we never here a official statement about and the rummors about it has going worse.
there are still people think we get a BR and we still got no official statement if its comming or not so and the rummor about it has going crazy about it more.
so 2 day’s is notting at all since a lot off things we wait month’s for a official statement and not get it.

False. We did get a statement when those rumors first began. The fanbases’ propensity to ignore statements and favor wild assumptions does not change that we did, in fact, get a statement that the only BR they were interested in was the Battle Rifle.
