Bot bootcamp is such a good gamemode to just lay back and chill, not sweaty, doesn’t take long time before a match is finished, easy win, fast xp if challenges are completed.
Having a blast in bot bootcamp when all challenges are done and I just wanna chill with Halo.

I keep forgetting it can grind challanges haha.
The bots are great though, it was odd they werent used in campaign as created or banished turn coats.
Its would have been a cool way to surprise players.

I never used to play PVE but I do like sprinkling in some Bot Bootcamp between games. It’s just kinda nice how quick it is and half the time the other players are doing silly things.
Never liked Firefight or Spartan Ops but it’s made me realise if they were much quicker and bite sized I’d probably play it all the time.

I’d prefer the return of a true PvE Firefight style experience, but absolutely Bot Bootcamp is a welcome addition and a nice place to decompress on the tryhard vibe that’s present in so many other playlists.

I play the multiplayer bot Bootcamp to warm up or to test if it’s a good day for hit registration. Today there is virtually no hit detection (for me) and so there is no way I will go into regular multiplayer. One thing, I wish you could change is the level of the bots from marine to spartan.

It’s honestly been a minute since I’ve I comp stomped for warmup. I was doing it almost every session early on, but have since stopped. It just feels empty, tbh. And it makes me want to play firefight.
I’m curious if we will see any sort of bot/ai features in forge. Imagine dropping covie squads on remade campaign maps.

Well, you can complete some challenges, but not all of them. I tried doing a challenge for team slayer score, and it didn’t give me any progress just playing bot bootcamp. I had to switch to the team slayer playlist to get it to work. However, yes you are right. I find myself playing bot bootcamp the most because not only am I not very good, but it’s the only instance of a PvE mode in this game, like Firefight. I find myself enjoying coop stuff more than competitive stuff.

Yeah I find if the challenge notes you have to kill “enemy spartans” then it has to be done against real players and not bots. (Although Idk if bots in regular matches count like when someone leaves unexpectedly)
I wish it was chill. All I had today were matches with players treating it like a warm up for ranked. It really put me off playing it again.
If you’re really good against these bots, please just practice in custom and stop ruining it for others.

Honestly I usually put a XP boost and run Bot Bootcamp for my first 7 rounds to maximize 1 XP boost
They do it’s either PVP or not PVP meaning Of it’s a Player VS player Lobby by design aka all other modes outside of about slayer it will count even if the whole team except one leaves an dots just you vs 3 bots
I can usually snag three levels before my exp boost runs out. That’s twenty matches.
That is if I use it at the start of a “new day”.

Imma keep it real, this seems like a personal issue, I’ve been playing 6 bot matches a day to keep progress going on the pass, and no one is ever sweating that hard.
Using it as a warmup for ranked is what the majority will be doing besides maybe doing what i did and just knocking out daily matches.
Also it’s the only game you can get into quickly now because the game is officially dead

It’s not dead here in Norway, I get matches in quick play, KOH, LSS, Fiesta, Bot bootcamp and Ranked. But BTB is still not working for me…

No… if the challenge says “in PvP” at the end of it then you cannot.
Example-- “Kill 10 enemy spartains in PvP.”
Or “Get back smacks in PvP.”
Etcetera
And game mode specific challenges cannot either, like complete matches in fiesta, or tactical slayer… or X amount of kills in BTB.
Each week tho there is about 4ish challenges you can do in bootcamp.
