Why is it in warzone I do upwards of 95% damage on any of the bosses and when my team get the kill I get nothing I get that it’s fun to play as a team but if my team are being rewarded why am I being left out ?
ive noticed that only like 2-3 people will get credit for a boss kill at a time even if like 5+ ppl are attacking it, but that may just be me. i believe, but not sure that, 1 person gets the kill and up to 2 people get an assist for the kill
yeahbut what he means is that even if you assist in a boss it dosent go towards your commendations
it actually does, ive gotten a warden assist and it gave me a warden kill point in commendation and legendary boss kill/assist commendation. and i almost got nothing but assist for the regular boss commendation and i finished that quick.
That is why i wait till its low before taking it out or be that lucky guy spamming his BR away or using a power weapon or vehicle.

I spend a lot of time shooting the enemy while they shoot the AI. I love just popping the last couple of hits to steal the kill. Teams need to get better at securing the area before working on a legendary AI boss.

same here. pretty much i wait if a lot of people are fighting him, and THEN i attack and hope my shot is the one that kills him.

The problem with that logic is a lot of bosses are in far too open of an area to secure. Wamik can be shot at from just about the length of the map for example if he just hangs over the loading dock. Same with the banshee pilot and Warden in Noctus. Warden in March on Storm Break and Apex is securable for the most part. I think 2/3 of the points should be based on damage dealt and the last third shot be awarded to the kill shot for legendary bosses. That’s still a 50 point bonus for the team that can control the area better or has a better sense of timing, but doesn’t leave the other team completely screwed if they put in most of the work only to get lasered or sniped at the last second.

Yeah from watching multiple games and checking the score after each boss kill. ive noticed usually 1 person gets the kill and maybe 2 people will get an assist at the most. So if theres 4 or 5 people attacking it then only a few will even get credit, and it wont always be the one that did alot or most damage.

I can’t remember where I read it, but I think the last three people to land a hit on the team that gets the kill get the commendation.

wouldnt be suprised if thats how its registered. that would make it easier for the system

You do if you’re the person to kill or last person to shoot the boss. That’s what I’ve seen at least. I think only 2 people get credit for the kill/assist.

Make sure to get a power weapon and use it at the end of the boss’s life. Make sure to try and get the last shot off.
