So coming from halo 2, when you battled the brute cheiftan and a covenant prophet, will there be boss battles in hao 4. And obviously from the first part of the E3 stage demo that huge orb sphere thing is some kind of powerfull thing that will give the cheif trouble. so all im asking is if there are going to be bosses or somethin like that???

I certainly hope not. The H2 bosses were annoying at best. Halo isn’t a game for boss battles. It’s a game about slaughtering tons of infantry as an overpowered super soldier.

OT: I’d like to see boss battles in Halo 4, to be honest. But, these boss battles need to be executed properly. The Heretic leader battle was confusing with the holodrones. The battle with Regret and the honor guards was too easy. And the Tartarus battle just took too long, and all you had to do was stay in cover while Johnson took down the shields, making it pretty simple.
I’m all for boss battles, as long as they pose a challenge and aren’t stupid.

Boss battles were interesting for sure.
But I’ll only like them in Halo 4 if 343 can execute it well.
I hope there’s something like the scarabs, they were kind of like a mini boss and I loved fighting them

True, but now it’s back and we must deal with it. Plus multiple discussions can result in different opinions. I personally like different threads on the same subject, well except blue flame threads
