Yea exactly go rage mode cause i whine about the DMR, but its the truth, the DMR can outshoot a BR easily at close-mid and longrange… doesnt matter it will win, so do something about it 343 NOW. Make it shoot slower.
ANd for the gametypes, where is all those fun ones? Like CTF where is it again? Where is normal FFA? where is race?
Infection without armorabilities would be awesome aswell,

Yeah… today I was playing BTB with my BR (as always) and I was getting disintegrated by all the enemy DMRs… without talking about the fact that makes too damage to Vehicles: In a lucky moment I got in the banshee, after 30 seconds I was burning becouse of 2 enemy players shooting at me with it ._.
It’s so dumb to ask for the DMR to get nerfed. Buff the other weapons instead and reduce the overall bullet magnetism/aim assist.
playing halo 4 is in no way challenging and I wish I was worse at the game so I could appreciate it more

Why the hell is it dumb to ask it to be nerfd? where the hell have you been when all games overall have been realsed, BLIZZARD who made WoW nerfs attacks if its to OP against others.

DMR is much stronger than the other loadout rifles. I really don’t think that issue is up for debate.
However the claim that it beats BR at short range is totally wrong. I’ve completed both BR and DMR commendation and I can say categorically that BR is slightly stronger at short range.
But this is the problem: Slightly stronger at short range does not compensate for the fact that the DMR is massively stronger at long range. DMR should be slightly stronger at long range… SLIGHTLY. BR should still have a chance of winning long range duels in the hands of a superior skilled player. However currently it has next to zero chance at the moment.

i just realized now when i playd a game of Infinity slayer ( miss the “normal” slayey tho ) that the storm rifle beats the AR and supressor or what its called, it does sick damage ^^
well RIGHT now i tested the dmr and BR REAAAALY close, and mid, the dmr takes out the br faster, i shot with both controllers at the same time and the BR lost all the time…

There is a solution to this. It’s called use the DMR. It is the better Primary rifle, but it can be outgunned by a zoomed light rifle and a flanking carbine.

Exactly man! I’m tired of people complaining about OP weapons like the DMR/Bolshot combo. If you don’t want to be killed by them, use those weapons and beat them to it.
zoomed light rifle combined with steady aim perk can be lethal
make a br a 4shot weapon is the only fix possible and the title update isnt doing weapon balancing as far as I know
This is the most stupid thing I have ever heard. So the solution to OP weapons is to use them too. Why didn’t I thought about? Tt was so obviusly! 343 made many other loadouts weapon becouse they had nothing other to do after creating the DMR. Becouse sure, the game is made to play only with DMR and Boltshot, the rest is for noobs that don’t know what are the best weapons of the game…

As I said the only nerf the DMR really needs is a reduction of the aim assist/ bullet magnetism because then the weapon would require skill to use. As it stands the DMR is the only weapon that deserves its name out of the primary precision guns (The LR is also good). So if they nerf the DMR we have a sandbox full of bad weapons (like in vanilla Reach where even the only useful small arms weapon, the DMR, was weak) and that’s not fun.

I dont wana use the DMR cause i had enough of it from Halo reach. i loved the BR in halo 3, still love the br
got EMPd with plasmapistol and 1 shotted in my back by Dmr like now …

It may sound stupid, but if you’re playing against an entire team of DMR kids and you think you’re going to kill them with you BR, you won’t get far.

Not every weapon, mainly the Carbine and the BR.

…I thought all computers these days came with spell check. But that’s besides the point.
If you don’t want to die from the DMR, then use it yourself and kill your enemy. Or you can die because you don’t use the obvious best weapons to use in your loadout for the time being.
